Don't mistake me for no Southern unity advocate. When I use the South I mean a people with fair homogeneity of socio-economic, religious and cultural ideals.

I would expect those people to be intelligent enough to make pragmatic choices that is in the best interest of their generations unborn instead of bickering pettily because of envy and ancient bitterness/hate towards each other.

Yes Tinubu is best to deliver a competitively free-market, innovative, private sector -driven and decentralised democratic system of governance that is the optimal and best chance, medium and long term, for Nigeria to attain "developed Nation" status.

It is even going to get worse because Tinubu, as I predicted when he was sworn in, will teach future Southern Presidents and political leaders how to lead independently and defy Northern bullying to the glory of Nigeria.

Nigeria cannot keep indulging the North and their ways. Doing so, historically, has been one of main reason we are amongst the most terrorised nation in the world today and socio-economically backwards.

GEJ was the worst as he was just their 'doormat' and this is why I laugh when some long for and romanticise his 'messiah' return as President in 2027.

Nigeria has to make enduring and sustainable socio-capitalist, competitively free-market and private sector-driven progress. This is what the reforms of Tinubu, though punitive in the short term, will deliver.

If the North does not want self-determined peace, progress and socio-capitalist progress then they should remain behind while the rest of us move forward progressively under greater regional autonomy.

The likes of that Aminda chap, blindly behind born-to-rule Northerners like Atiku and Malami etal, do not mean well for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Chief there is nothing progressive about Tinubu's economic policies. You cannot keep impoverishing the people while doling out money to politicians and call that progress. You can't tax an already poor nation into prosperity. Tinubu has increased existing tax and created new ones in just two years. And what has all that money translated to in terms of development? Fuel price is still going up. Governors lavish subsidy windfall as they like. All manner of regulations and laws are being passed to further frustrate the masses.

This was How buhari was encouraged to make wrong policies with the promise that the suffering is short term. I'm sure we know better today. Tinubu started on a wrong foot and unfortunately the people that should call him to order are busy singing his praise.

Even southwest is impacted by the economic woes and Tinubu cannot get the same number of votes he got in 2023 if elections were conducted today. Let's tell ourselves the truth. The economy is worse off for the common man today
