In every functioning society, the rule of law is the great equalizer, the invisible line that ensures the powerful, the famous, and the ordinary citizen are all bound by the same code of conduct. When that line is blurred, chaos creeps in, and a dangerous precedent is set. The recent incident involving King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM1, is not just another celebrity scandal, it is a test of Nigeria’s commitment to justice, fairness, and public safety. Eyewitness accounts and credible reports allege that KWAM1’s actions directly interfered with the operations of a commercial flight, endangering passengers and crew. In many jurisdictions, such conduct would not only trigger swift arrest but also be prosecuted under laws relating to obstruction, unlawful interference with an aircraft, or even acts of terrorism. His subsequent public apology, delivered after mounting pressure, does not absolve him of legal accountability. If anything, it tacitly acknowledges wrongdoing. But apologies cannot substitute for the due process of law. They do not erase the potential trauma of passengers, nor do they safeguard against future occurrences by others emboldened by inaction. KWAM1 must walk the line of accountability like every other Nigerian. This is not up for debate , he should be invited, appear in court, and get a court date. His actions, caught clearly on video, amount to federal offences. The government cannot turn a blind eye. We fought too hard for this democracy to now start wishing for the days of military rule because civilian leaders refuse to uphold the law. Arrest KWAM1. Let him get a lawyer and defend himself in court. This is how to send a clear message to the arrogant “Do you know who I am?” crowd that nobody is above the law in Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

It's got nothing to do with President Tinubu, he has a country to run, and doing a fine job of it too despite bitter, impotent Obidients wanting to kpai him (and the rest of us) with abuse and insults  , let the aviation ministry handle the infraction under their jurisdiction. 4 Likes |

helinues:Honestly, they have jumped on top of Talazo's lack of comportment big time. If President Tinubu doesn't personally handcuff him, they won't rest. Their enemy within levels is just too high and blatant nowadays, thank God for the bot, even though it is catching me unfairly too, I am so happy they too are being tagged by it. |

Just imagine that this incident happened at Heathrow or Garwick Airport. Kwam1 or whatever will be jailed for terrorism and put on "No flights list" for life. ICAO must wade in and impose hravy fine on NCAA for dereliction. Then suspend Nigeria airports until he is properly sanctioned. 1 Like |
