Go to where there are no fulani kidnappers and start something instead of looking for excuses!
Stop this careless talk!
Nobody is making any excuses, there are people who have been truly handicapped by these banditry and herdsmen menace.

Come to the North and you will understand, many very hardworking people can't even go to their farms, places of business or travel out of their community without risking coming across the multiple checkpoints manned by bandits! Even in markets, bandits patrol and impose taxes on Nigerians, while the commander in chief is chilling in Abuja.

Una go just dey talk trash online from the comfort of your houses, all in the name of trying to make sense, while the reality on ground is totally different for majority of people.

Life stew and soft for you no mean say na so millions of people dey see am elsewhere

Did anybody tell them that the masses are hungry?
Except a communist environment, No federal government primary responsibility is putting food on your table. Even that of developed nations like Scandinavia, North America and Western Europe do not put food on the tables of their citizens

No, because they are waiting for you to go into agriculture like your mates, and grow more food, so it can be cheaper.
Where are the safe farmlands for agriculture? When you guys are done deceiving yourselves, it will be too late!

Nigeria isn't the biggest economy in Africa.
Nigeria isn't the strongest military in Africa.
Nigeria isn't the strongest Air Force.
Etc

I said the masses. People in Lagos should go into Farming? Where? How?
Lagos state is not means for the poor . If you can't afford Lagos cost of life then move back to your villages you came from. Lagos state is developed and Orbanised than to be a dumping site of boys and Girls with polythene Bags from poor villages as usual.

Again, the topic says South Africa and Mtn is South African.
Mtn is cashing in because the economy is booming, and if phone and internet service providers are raking in profits, it means other areas are doing better.

But of course, some will still complain of hunger in the midst of plenty.

Go and read the article again. You’ll see it’s Toriola that’s saying that. No mention of any other foreigner’s name but Toriola MTN Nigeria ceo. He’s happy he’s cashing out due to his brother’s clueless policies. He made a lot of profits just within 6 months bcs his brother in power kept quiet as he hiked call tariff and data prices and he milked Nigerians a lot. That’s why he’s hailing his brother’s govt.

And do you know that 30-40% of the so called masses living in Lagos have no business being there in the first place,, they prefer to be subjected to abject poverty and hunger than go back to their villages and farm ,when you farm hunger is out of your life and you will even earn modest income by selling your excess farm produce.
