Amaechi did better than any other governor during his era in Nigeria.
He was the best performing governor in Nigeria and as a minister under buhari for 8 years he was the best performing minister in buhari government

Amechi is not a presidential material even with what he just talked now. He doesn't know about governance, he wants to come for trial and error. How can you solve corruption in one month when you are not a millitary man? Even millitary can't do it in one month! Will Amechi stopped all court cases and kill all he perceived as corrupt by himself or he should tell us how he will achieve it? He is pressing ipob mumu button on indigeneship which will never work and make his government ungovernable. So a Biafran will claim Kano and carry alcohol to the state without making his government distracted, right? For 8 years as Rivers State Governor, he didn't declare abrogation of indigeneship in Rivers.

Wike will soon take him on again.

It actually makes sense in a way sha, because for now, I have left my state since over 6 years, and the Constitution and indigenous won't let me play good politics here and it is not easy to be very active in my own place at the same time, so we travellers have been left handicap.

Someone quote the section of the Constitution he's referring to. These guys just blame the constitution for issues they created at the state and local level. These journalists should really start asking follow up questions so these lying / ignorant politicians can be forced to think about their positions.

Well, to be honest, I dont believe in democracy. It doesn't work well in practice and the average person shouldn't vote anyway. They don't have the intellectual understanding of finances, economics, or geopolitics. I think only the must intelligent should run society or the must qualified.

To me only intelligent Nigerians should vote. They should do exam to test peoples knowledge of economics, finances, and make sure they understand what policies are being passed into place.

Not based on political opinion or money. I'm from Australia but my family has origins in Eastern Europe. Democracy doesn't work well with poor uneducated populations of people. Only, with highly skilled, intelligent people should vote. Or, people who contribute to society.

I mean it makes sense if you look at statistical IQ averages access the world. Japan and Korea have the highest that's when democracy usually works well, but not with poor and uneducated populations of people.

So the only solution is either having a good central dicktor in power who has the interests of people at heart and make it step towards a improving the education level of Nigerians, rising the national average IQ, decreasing crime, and then look forwards democracy.

Otherwise its all going to fall.

But then, till date I really dont understand why some people who obviously have no chance of winning election choose to run for office. Even a child knows that Ameachi stands no chance at all.
