Governor Hope Uzodinma is taking a cue from his colleagues in Abia and Enugu by inviting Planet Projects to kick off the bus terminal projects quietly at 3 locations, the one shown here is beside ITC park along Onitsha expressway.

It's commendable that Imo govt wants to build a bus terminal in Owerri.But why name it Holy Ghost bus terminal.Look at the inscription on the construction sign post.Holy Ghost bus terminal already exists in Enugu because the area where it is situated is known as Holy Ghost area.I wonder why we should copy the name

Just saw this on Youtube and i've been agitated and worried ever since for the welfare of these two little angels found on their own. Can the Imo state gov't follow up on this issue and ensure these little kids are safe and taken care of while a search for their parents/guardians is mounted? This should have been the job of the states first lady, and i'm sure had this happened in Anambra, that Nonye Soludo would have looked into the issue as she's done in similar situations in the past.

I'm sure u don't live in owerri or know dat area too well to know dia is a school called Holy ghost College. It has existed wayback before dat place started bearing Control. I'm sure the school was even founded before the one in Enugu. Dat if is a school

I'm speaking from experience! I can point to at least one instance when the Anambra first lady helped out in a situation like this, and that was why i referenced her! If you have knowledge of the Imo state gov't intervening in this situation, could you share with the rest of us? I'm not interested in 'comparisons'....all i care for is the safety and interest of those kids! I was thinking about them all night!

Enugu's Holy Ghost terminal was named after Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral, a magnificent worship centre that was built in 1950s that sits almost next to the terminal in Enugu.

In fact, the entire area is called Holy Ghost park (which is one of the busiest parks in Enugu) because of the beautiful edifice. Holy Ghost in Enugu is a church, not a school.

Yes , I know Holy Ghost college.
The site of the new terminal is around Arugo park ( along Owerri Onitsha road).

Naming it Holy Ghost terminal is wrong.Arugo Terminal is better.
But the main thing is that building the terminal is a welcome development.

Ongoing control of the gully erosion site and dualization of the Mgbee Bridge, which is a part of the Orlu–Mgbee Road.

Roads in Anambra are cleaner than the roads in imo state. Almost all the roads in imo state are like muddy dirty poultry farm. Imo has no ministry of works and ministry of environment. Uzodimma has is mistake to imo state. Pictures: Owerri

The one in Enugu is a church not a school. It's the Catholic cathedral for Enugu diocese

Great view

Gov can pave the streets of Owerri with gold, but where will the plaudits come from?
There is no federal presence in Orlu and the entire zone. No sports stadium, no fire service, no federal housing, Orlu urban roads are like in civil war era;
Imo adjudged the most educationally advanced state can never have its people accept the FALSEHOOD that governors are meant to develop only the state capital.
