I wish I can find somebody to help me unlock my Airtel Android TV box smart router.

I want to be able to use other network SIM cards on it.

I will appreciate information on how I can go about this.

Not yet but I got two offers from people who promised me they will do it. The reason I have not done it is MTN/Glo service are poor in my place.

I have not been able to activate the free unlimited data that came with mine.

This modem usually have poor networ problems

Honestly, those of us who this Airtel Smart TV Box is suffering. How can Airtel deactivate 5k, 8k and 10k data subscription and subscription now start from 20k. People that are using the TV box are low income earners otherwise who will buy the box where there are android TV. Because of this, I want to unlock my Airtel Smart TV Box to allowing other sim to work on it. I can't subscribe 20k. Alternatively, I will prefer to buy another smart TV box but which one is ok in Nigeria. I have seen so many android TV box but which one is cool to use. My friend bought MXQ Pro 5G TV box. We later discovered it was a fake TV box. It only worked for two days and packed up

you can share any network from another router to this airtel android box, thats how i do mine,

you need this type of lan to usb,
you can only share internet to the airtel box device via it usb port from lan internet,

Can you please explain more, i got the usb to rj45 adapter

how do you tether hotspot to it? Via a lan cable? Do you connect lan cable from a router to this cable?

You connect a lan cable from another router that is working and has internet to the airtel box via the usb to lan connected to the airtelbox usb, and also dont put sim in the airtel box. ,

also u can disable the dhcp server from the router dashboard
to get it working

Abeg i need to try this, I like the box but limiting me to only one network is my problem

You can also connect to another internet source using Wi-Fi.
