My question is This year we where asked to submit 3 proposals 1 for each university choice. So my question is are we going to be asked about the 3 proposal or our first choice proposal please someone should answer me

From previous scholars, it depends on your panelists and what interests them amongst the 3 proposed courses but some panelists dwell on the first choice. But some previous scholars advised keeping an open mind

Based on state of origin. You are only competing with shortlisted candidates from your state.

Has anyone been considered for virtual interview?

It has always been three university choice and three research proposal abinitio. Some people submit just one or three.However, it is common for people to dwell on their first choice.

It has always been three university choice and three research proposal abinitio. Some people submit just one or three.However, it is common for people to dwell on their first choice. They spend average of 20 minutes per applicant. This time also include sighting of your documents. So you cant be defending three proposals.

Ameeeen oooo, I too shall rejoice this year Insha Allah. I feel it. This is my third attempt, I gave it my best shot and the panelist seemed convinced during my interview. They even closed by saying "we hope to see you on the other side (I just hope it really means something). May we all make it good in this life and the hereafter.

Usually it is midnight, so it is either midnight today entering tomorrow or midnight tomorrow entering Monday. Or same for next week

It's just 2 weeks, even ratification could take a week due to bureaucracy. I think the earliest will be the weekend of 15th, but I lean towards it being released on the 22nd.

Grading and selection does not take time. This I believe is what the panelist do decide at the end of each interview. However, weighing the number of selected winners with respect to the available budget for each year is what I believe takes the bulk of the time. For example, for every selected PhD scholar, the budget prepared will be for the entire three years of study and not just for the first year. This takes some good accounting and planning. In addition some winners who might be candidates of strong politicians will also be provided for. This does not hinder or reduce the merit candidates who went through the entire process. Factoring all these in will not make you anxious. However, I believe the result will be released this month.
