These days, students are proud to show off material things but not proud to show off their grades.

I know that exam is not the true test of knowledge and grades shouldn't be used to measure intelligence sometimes. But someone who calls himself a student and is organising an event in the name of being a student should confidently display his school results.

In most of Nigerian universities these days, even the people that cannot explain their final-year projects topics rent expensive cars to sign out after writing their final year exams. We are now in a generation where secondary school students will absolutely rely on malpractice for junior WAEC exam and go ahead to throw an expensive party to celebrate having written the exam.
Not all things i school is about grades. Looking at this school is not a guess its expensive. Even if their grades are low, this country called Nigeria is not about your grades is All about who your parents know or how strong your connection is.
Take my job as an example people with masters

Is not all about grades my dear. Looking at this school is an expensive school. In Nigeria sometimes is not your grades is how wealthy your parents are and people they know to fix their children wherever.
Take my job for example people with Masters will gladly and happily take my job for half of what am earning but na who i know jokingly gave me on platter just cos of my dad was a good man when he was alive and not forgetting most importantly by HIS grace.

So some of these kids that are not with good grades now will be directors of companies earning 7-8 million per month

Prom party in Nigeria!!! 🤣😂🤣😂

I have been doing some research about Black Americans and how they happen to fall at the bottom despite their years of existence in the USA.

In my findings, I got to realize they massively adopted everything that was sold to them, that a majority of White that sold it to them detest.

Let’s starts from Prom, Blacks are mostly intoxicated by this Prom. Drillz celebrating violence are being promoted by White record labels to instigating them against one another. Where killing/hats is now a gold medal.

When will blacks realize that a Caucasian can never sell anything good to them. How do you believe the White man would have told you about Jesus if he was TRULY the way to salvation and eternal life.

Those guys will only sell what will brain wash you, reduce your population, decimate your family, or make you sterile.

In 2025, our race still asleep, and these foolishness we passing on to kids.
You were making a bit of sense until you wrote that nonsense about Jesus, and you came across as both comical and dumb at the same time.

That you don’t believe in Jesus does not make Him fake. It is your prerogative to continue to be foolish but, if you were wise at all, you’d accept Jesus Christ as your LORD & Saviour today.

Psalm 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."

The gullible ones says in their heart, Jesus is the messiah.

But the True God of the Jews did not have a child with Mary anther man's wife.

The Jews believe in God but not Jesus, have you found out from the Jews why?
If a doctor, nurse, teacher etc start preaching Jesus in the country that brought Jesus to Nigeria, they will have to kiss their job good bye.

Lol at the quoted. You’re using the internet, a phone, or a laptop 😀 tools your shallow mind couldn’t even conceive of if you were given a billion years.😁

For your information: all cultures have mixed and many have been erased entirely. The Anglo-Saxons were absorbed by the Normans. Gaul was swallowed by the Romans and eventually became France. The Arabian Peninsula saw countless local cultures wiped out and replaced with Islamic culture. This is not unique to Africa, that's how history works.

Africa’s tragedy is that we were isolated for much of history. While other continents were exchanging ideas, technologies, and institutions, raising the collective “technological floor”.. large parts of Africa were cut off by geography, thick forests, and poor navigable connections. Yes, we had great empires: Mali, Songhai, Benin, Aksum.. but make no mistake, we were no match for the great empires of other continents by the time we made contact with the west. The gap wasn’t racial it was a result of our consequences living in thick, inpenentrable enclaves.

Also cultural contact, even assimilation, isn’t inherently bad. The bad part is that we, as blacks, are too lazy and too distracted (distracted by crying and irrelevance) to use the leverage we have now, leverage our ancestors never dreamed of. The internet. Free access to global knowledge. Technology and education the world shares far more openly than in the past.

The Chinese were colonized, carved up, and humiliated, yet they rose by using the tools available to them. The Japanese were obliterated by two atomic bombs, but they didn’t waste decades hating the West..no, they rebuilt and now sit as equals at the table of power.

I implore my fellow blacks to start our own Renaissance, lets fast-track ourselves into that precarious committee of nations as equals, not as perpetual beggars for arms and aid. The constant ritual of blaming whites for how we failed is humiliating, self-defeating, and beneath the dignity of any people who claim they want respect.
My Brother am a Pro black but you see our people, we no too smart at all how can somebody claim that same white man wey stop most of our king ritual killings and some stupid beliefs as bad? Like say a black rate him people. I just dey laugh when people dey play hate on the whiteman

The brain washing of Africans is just overwhelming.
Imagine people fighting for their gods instead of otherwise. It's absolutely disheartening that many Africans still believe the so called whites will do them any good.

Is it Black Americans that are celebrating at the Prom Party? If not why have they become the topic? In your research about Black Americans when were they ever on top to fall to the bottom? ... when they were enslaved? Enlighten us ... unless you want to keep us in the dark.

@ topic . About what percentage of these graduates attend universities?....and remain after two years? They should have a list of the graduates .... and their grades.

Thank you so much for this.

I had to quote it because every day I think about it, I realise there is a limit to blaming the White man. We cannot continue to blame the White man in 2025. The White man is more concerned about his falling fertility rate.

Our people are merely envious and largely a result of poverty. The same school produced one of the highest UTME/JAMB scorers as of last year.

Nigeria's economy needs to grow. The poverty mentality it creates amongst its citizenry is very dangerous.
