Both of them are unstable. The weak naira for an import dependent country is a recipe for disaster.

Only as long as it's unstable. Once the economy adjusts to the stable price, it stops being such a huge problem. In any case, we're trying encourage exports, aren't we? Maybe we'll someday get a government that isn't stuck in old ways and will allow the export of agric produce too.

The Excess Crude Account in Nigeria is widely considered unconstitutional because it’s not backed by any law and bypasses the revenue channels mandated by the Constitution, even though it’s not criminal in itself.
Same reason why power rotation between north and south is illegal
