Check the bolded below in your quote......You don't have it....At all.

LP & ADC don't have the spread and dominance of PDP and that is a leveraging factor.

Who is Wike please ? Is he a god ?

Can a Wike match a PO on a National scale or an Atiku ?

If an election is conducted today for any of Wike's boys in Rivers, they will gallantly loose without rigging.

Abeg ! It's too early for shalaye.

casualobserver:
Can we please talk with some sense?

If he were expellable they would have expelled him.

PDP is too weak to expel someone like Wike! It would be the final nail in their coffin if they did!

Wike, Makinde, Bala Mohammed. Who else is in PDP that they can afford to expel their most influential member, troublesome as he is?

Infact Jonathan's second wife was projected into the public sphere as to prepare the minds of Nigerians for GEJ's ambition. GEJ is PDP's candidate.
And you think Tinubu will win Jonathan on free and fair election? If Jonathan contest he is your next president.

Are the EXCOs of PDP and the major officers under a spell ?

Majority of those who agreed to Wike's terms are the problem of PDP and Nigeria generally.

Wike should be expelled instead of sugar coating the Truth.

How can one human being dare a whole Political party to expel him if they can ?

How please ?

Lamido Sule has said the honest truth, Nigeria will be dragged back with people like Wike in power.
it’s rivers money is talking. Wike has almost single-handedly pay rolling pdp as a party since they lost to Buhari

Jonathan was never the best. ..we only managed and liked him because, he was the lesser devil compared to the bigger and biggest devil. Please your guess is as good as mine as it concerns the aforementioned. I beg Jonathan not to please yield to the pleas of those that betrayed and ruined his second term agenda. Now, they are asking him to run for the presidential seat, so they can gravely and aggressively destroyed his political career once and for all. PDP is dead! Even the blind, lame, deaf and dumb can attest to it.

So who are they going to vote, Tinubu.
It seems you people now want to stop fighting Obi and start in$ulting Jonathan just because you all felt he might likely contest.
I will not be surprised how you people will start calling him betrayal and Judas.
This is the new name of any one who cares to contest against Tinubu.

No! It's the Northerners that is pushing Jonathan. He can only spend 4years and by this, power will return to the Northerners.

By 2031, power MUST return to the north, either via APC or PDP or ADC.

The worst that happen is PDP featuring Jonathan. They should allow the man to rest and continue with his private life

Wike is solidly behind Tinubu, at least for now.

Even if you hand him PDP presidential ticket, he knows that the party has crumbled and will just use it to work for Tinubu.

PDP as a nationa party is gone.

Your question is in order but the truth is that, in today's Nigeria politics, Wike is a god with both the bottom power and wherewithals.

Thank God the ticket has been zone to the South. Wike or Makinde should utilise the opportunity and pick the Presidential ticket.
How do you think in your imagination that Wike will pick ticket for PDP presidential election when he is a minister under Tinubu's Presidency and Tinubu is interested 2nd tenure?

Even when PDP was the major opposition party ,he didn't contest ,how much more now when PDP is not and when all major powerful stakeholders have almost left the party

Joke apart is JKonathan not 1ptimes better than Tinubu ? Was the standard of living not better under Jonathan? U mean even if Jonathan no enter race person go waka go vote tinubu.

If Jonathan enters tinubu should forget norther votes and SS votes..

He can't win, APC are majority in the North, and ADC will also take a chunk of votes if Atiku run under it. Those eying presidency in 2031 under APC will still deliver for the incumbent instead of PDP where they don't have opportunity to do so. PDP votes in the South will most likely split between the loyalists of Tinubu and him, while that of APC will remain intact.

The only ticket that could defeat or almost defeat the incumbent is Atiku/Obi ticket, any other person from the South can't win because it won't make any sense for majority of APC stakeholders in the North to back another party candidate when they have brighter opportunities in the same time frame in their party when it is turn of the North.

Everything they are doing is how Atiku will win the presidential race in 2027.

1. If PDP agrees to zone presidency to the South, then Atiku rolls to a free ride in ADC
2. PDP will rob Tinubu of many votes in the South by dividing Southern votes between Obi and whoever PDP will finally present..

Politicians are strategic when it comes to elections BUT extremely dumb when it concerns long term national development.
Re: Why PDP Agreed To Wike’s Demands by Halo22: 1:55pm On Aug 11, 2025
For me, I think their game plan is ok. Wike should be reduced to nothing to the extent that he would struggle to win his Local Government Area in the next election. I'm very certain that Jonathan will win Tinubu anytime, anyday.

So, Wike will now contest against Tinubu or what? I am not understanding oo! Maybe he had a gentle men agreement with Tinubu to do only one term....then he wike will take over..

Political analysis over to you.
Wike holds influence in South south and South east more than Tinubu does.
Tinubu knows working against Wike will be very bad for 2027.

Wike can jump ship but Tinubu can't dish Wike yet since he needs him to destabilize opposition.
Right now Tinubu is still finding problem selling himself to Nigerians, his best option is to use Wike destabilize opposition so he can win

Lolz, Wike has already thwarted this ur claim.
That man supported a party that he has almost zero chance of becoming it's president.

So APC stakeholders can actually work for another party
