Tinubu orders fresh verification of civil servants recruited between 2013 and 2020

President Bola Tinubu's administration has ordered a fresh verification exercise for thousands of civil servants who were recruited between 2013 and 2020.

This directive is part of an effort to address widespread allegations of job racketeering and the sale of employment slots within the federal civil service.

The re-verification is specifically for workers who failed to participate in a similar exercise conducted in 2021.

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) stated that "no further extension will be granted" and that some officers have been "deliberately staying away to avoid detection."

According to a circular, affected officers must check for their names on the FCSC and Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation websites, as well as on the notice boards of their respective ministries.

The exercise is scheduled to run from August 18 to August 28, 2025, and will cover various ministries and government agencies.

Officers are required to present original and photocopies of key documents, including their letters of appointment, regularisation, promotion, and their July 2025 Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS) payslip.

The move follows previous findings by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, who revealed the discovery of over 1,500 workers with fake employment letters and the removal of 3,000 names from the government's payroll following a verification exercise.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reappointed Dr Muheeba Dankaka as the Executive Chairman of the Federal Character Commission for a second five-year term.



President Tinubu also appointed Mohammed Musa as the Commission's secretary while retaining Kayode Oladele from Ogun as commissioner.



Oladele, a former House of Representatives member, was appointed by President Tinubu in 2024. He served as the commission's acting chairman following the expiration of Dankaka's first-term tenure.



The President renewed the appointment of Lawal Ya'u Roni, Abubakar Atiku Bunu and Eludayo Eluyemi, representing Jigawa, Kebbi and Osun States, for a second term.

The 2 are very solid, ncc they travel a lot, network providers in Nigeria get their network from international sources so the ncc has to be involved aswell, boi is the same to, they syndicate with some international institutions to provide cash so representatives have to be present, the only thing is that you have to pray to advance in this agencies. if you have the opportunity pick any, good money comes from estacode and upfront and other condiment you will experience when you join forget salary. 😉

She succeeds Dr Muheeba Dankaka, whose tenure was dogged by controversy.
