Rather, without strategy. What electoral reform was needed for GEJ? We've had Nnamdi Azikiwe and even Ironsi. What should all the other minority tribes and states say? Have we had a Kanuri president or an Ibibio president? Igbos were in charge of Senate for so long, they did not push these reforms? |

It is easier for the dead Queen Elizabeth to turn to trans and father children who will be Sultan of Sokoto Than for an ibo man to smell the 🚻 of Aso Rock ![]() |

Nigeria won't move forward until we stop this tribal mentality towards leadership. It's a mental slavery that we created for ourselves, same goes for zone and religion ticket. Let's vote for individuals due to their individual qualities not tribal, not religion, not geographical zone. Whoever brought this idea of politics into Nigeria did is dirty badly. |

No electoral reform can make a candidate with lesser vote counts win election. The current Igbo youth are attacking everyone who has a different opinion on any issue especially anything that has to do with politics and by that act making it difficult for them to have support of majority of Nigerians in election. So how is electoral reform going to make ibo president happens in this instance? |

Softmirror:Where do you guys always get this baseless lies that Oyo state is bigger then the whole of south east from? The population of oyo state is 5.5m and the population Anambra State alone is over 4 million. So how is Oyo state bigger than the South East? Are Governors not supposed to govern people? Is it that you guys are just ignorant or always want to be mischievous.[ |

gidgiddy: indeed, oyo state as only land but yet Ibadan is more developed and of more economic value to Nigeria than your 5plot of unproductive potopoto land😂😂😂 numbers don’t lie nwokem. You ipobidient minions can continue living in denial and believe development is only about building empty mansions on potopoto land.A region that lacks infrastructure, viable industries and FDI, world class universities, hospitals etc is what they keep comparing with Ibadan you can see I didn’t even mention Lagos, because it’s only fair to compare sad yeast to oyo state because of the size in term of land mass, that should be a concern for those with critical thinking make Una continue with Una obsession with Lagos yorubaland btw proudly Lagos ![]()

Any ibo man can become the president of Nigeria with or without electoral reforms but they need to put their house in order. This tribe are in competition with themselves and there is no unity , a classical example is the case in the 2003 and 2007 elections where they presented more than three candidates vying for the presidential post flying different political party flags rather than queuing behind late Odimegwu Ojukwu the most formidable candidate. |

When Pdp was in power, they refused all suggestions of electoral reforms. Apc will also refuse electoral reforms until there is divine intervention like what happened in 2015. I can bet you if Pdp comes back, they will still refuse reforms until there’s another divine intervention. What we are using now is divine intervention. |

The factional Ohanaeze Ndigbo has stated the obviously bitter but honest truth. Not too long, they would begin to accuse the group of being sponsored by Tinubu, their usual fall guy! Let it be sounded once again, except by the act of God, Tinubu is good to go for 8 uninterrupted years. Tinubu is a political enigma , cool and calculated and has everything tidied up! Only the realization of this fact would set the nay-sayers free from crass delirium. @hotseat |

agentarcher:The problem is from the centralized structure of the country and the erroneous belief that only leaders from our region can care about our issues. The British left us with the best option but we messed it up. Rather than accept this error we continue to look for different solutions that may or may not work. Real workable federalism is the way to go with more power and control to the federating units. |

fuckJones:Ok. If Peter Obi is a goner, has it changed the political landscape of Nigeria? Is not same poverty pervading the land with preferred candidates of North and Southwest. Nigeria cannot progress without IBO presidency. Poverty and deprivation is what you will see. Mark my words! |

OLADD:No be only electoral reforms. Imagine the entire east can't get the support of other regions except if they go there to populate those regions !!!! Anyways maybe the Igbos should also do a cultural reform and put an end to the osu caste system they have been practicing then maybe they would be some progress for them in the presidential elections..... |
