Peacecore:You want me to agree that eating smoked fish is bad because Peacecore like boiled ones only ![]() Life don't work by your cooked rules and viewpoint only. You have to embrace the perspective and perception of others sometimes. Jesus did that with the Syrophoenician woman. Don't give what is holy to dogs yet dogs eat bread crumbs. First let the children eat all they want,” he told her, “for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”28 “Lord,” she replied, “even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”29 Then he told her, “For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter.” Peacecore be my guest. I won't agree to you regimenting my conscience and knowledge over what was not explicitly stated. |

Peacecore:Where were the audience when he was with the Samantha woman? Was the samaritan woman in her living room? Where did Philip meet with the Ethiopian? Act 8: 26-29 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian[a] eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” 30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked |

Peacecore:The first time i met preachers who came knocking on doors it was members of a Catholic Church closer to my place i was so surprised when i opened and they started preaching for me! ![]() It's like a taboo to me seeing someone at my door claiming he or she wants to preach one on one only to discover that he or she is not one of Jehovah's Witnesses! ![]() So i gave them a long bench to sit for us to have a Bible discussion but they were surprised as their supposed householder turned out to be the one doing the preaching because whatever question i ask puts them in a tight corner and i keep supplying the answers from the Bible. The young man who led the group wasn't pleased with the way his colleagues were listening attentively as if they're seeing a prophet he told them to leave and a lady among them told him that they are learning from me then i told them i'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses that's the time their leader said: "NO WONDER! I knew this person can't be one of those Pentecostals" We parted with greetings! |

femi4:Whenever you're reading God's word try to see yourself in the picture. Now imagine a preacher who is going from house to house with his friends then he performed a miracle like raising a dead person or paralyzed man or restoring the sight of a blind man or curing a leper or cripple. Do you think such a person could still continue his house to house ministry without people trying to see the man who is performing such wonders? That's what brought about the crowd not that Jesus was rudely speaking to uninterested passersby! |

femi4:There was already an encounter between Jesus and the Sameritan woman which is asking for and gifting of water. The discussion started from there. Jesus didn't just meet the woman and start telling her stuffs. Jesus identified the effort Zaccheuus was making to see him. He didn't start attending to him in the crowd but promised him to come to his house which he obliged to. Even a mad man besides Bethsaida river call out Jesus first before he was attended to. |

MaxInDHouse:That's a responsible way of doing things. They would've left if you didn't want to hear from them. No imposition - whether you want it or not, no shouting, and no offerings. Why won't you respect and welcome such people another day. |

Peacecore:What they want is disorder so nobody can compel them to join preachers going to meet people in their homes. You know speaking indiscriminately into the air could be done by anybody but to approach someone and initiate a serious discussion knowing fully well that the other person may ask questions is not easy that will require that you have scriptural answers to questions that may arise from the discussion you raised. ![]() |

Peacecore:I'm telling you that we (JWs) finds it really easy to preach in places where there are no Pentecostals or other churches we do enjoy our preaching in such places because they won't start arguing aimlessly just to stop the conversation. In fact we do have experiences in towns and villages where majority worship family deities in small small shrines they often treat us well but the complete opposite is when you meet people who claims they are BORN AGAIN those are the funniest people because it's their kinds who do shout in buses and corners of the street yet they know next to nothing! ![]() |

Let me remind you Your post: They only preached when they were able to gather audience's attention I asked you again, show me the crowd in his (Jesus) encounter with the samaritan woman Show me the crowd in the encounter between Philip and the Ethiopian Please don't reply the question with question cos I won't reply you no more |

Peacecore:We do preach to prostitutes but it's our approach that will beat their conscience because we won't quote a Bible verse that condemns their work rather we will preach the Good News of God's Kingdom to them which will make them ask questions about why God permitted suffering, crime, injustice, sickness and death? After satisfying their curiosity few of them will now ask us why we never condemn their works that's the time to tell them that such doesn't make any sense when they never knew that God is not the cause of what brought them to that debased condition! But trust our evangelism evangelists they will continue shouting "Hellfire Hellfire" as if that's what Jesus called Good News! ![]() |

Peacecore:They are not trained so they can't handle a situation they never prepared for. I've met many who often say their pastors has warned them not to listen to Jehovah's Witnesses. I told my friend who said so that his pastor knew he will stop attending his church if he pay attention to Jehovah's Witnesses! John 8:32 |
