Lanruze:
The current crop of Ministers currently in power in the PBAT Admin have 22 of them with EFCC cases and are still in court including the Minister of State for Defence.

EFCC has done two things today alone that is making me doubt their intergrity.

Till today the President - PBAT has not declared his assets as stipulated by the law. At least Buhari openly declared his assets to even his cows.
The curious thing is that in the case of tinubu there is no noise or push for his asset declaration by the public, the press or the civil societies ,they normalise it unlike for other presidents ,the man knows how to pocket people because he is a big spender

don’t worry, they just want to embarrass and expose those forming coalition with Atiku.

First it was amaechi’s wife getting 4 billion naira monthly from NDDC, now Tambuwal withdrawing over 100 billion from a poor state like Sokoto and these clowns claim that they want to rescue Nigeria.
How has ebilokan rescued our country with the $84 billion subsidy savings that made petrol so expensive instead of crashing the price as he promised in January 2023? How has this impacted the price of other things in the country?

Did ebilokan just steal all the $84 billion to bribe politicians who he knows can make him reelectedhuh

Petrol should never cost more than N70 per litre, says APC

January 19, 2015

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described as mere tokenism the reduction of petrol price from N97 to N87 per litre, saying the petroleum product ordinarily should sell for N70.

On Sunday, the federal government announced the reduction of petrol price, citing the fall of global crude oil price.

But the APC through Lai Mohammed, its spokesman, on Monday accused the government of making a show out of deceit, saying “a 10.3 per cent slash in the price of petrol was a mere tokenism at a time the price of crude oil has crashed by about 60 per cent”.

It argued that the pump price of a litre of petrol should not be more than 70 Naira, alleging that at N87 per litre, the government was forcing Nigerians to subsidise the massive corruption in the oil sector by N17 for every litre of fuel.

Obidients don’t hate corruption, going by their comments on this thread. They only pretend to hate corruption when the perpetrator is one of those they love to hate. I’ve never seen a people so given into deceit, falsehood and virtue signaling

Yo
OK we should start following their news only to hear Olukoyede declare it a political case?

Your big drug boss who steals half of Nigeria's annual budget with the stroke of a pen, does anyone ever challenge him?

Why should any citizen waste their time cheering an EFCC that only goes after teenaged Yahoo boys?

As a citizen we know we have rights to vote . We do not have to be able to quote which law gives us that right to prove we know what we are talking about.
We know we have freedom of speech we don't have to be able to quote any law to know that

We do not need to be experts in law to be citizens or have civic knowledge
The president is required to declare his assets by the constitution

What is fake news about the things said by ebilokan and his party?

What is fake news about what is done by ebilokan that is destroying our country more than the expired northerner Buhari that he packaged to make his fellow southerner Jonathan a one term president?

Why did ebilokan switch PDP deregulation and privatisation capitalist prosperity to APC’s palliative sharing extreme poverty?

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

There's a way the political tide will turn and Tambuwal will be the incoming Vice president in 2027. They are just trying to break his spirit but will only make him popular in the south.

All politicians are criminals of different levels. So why single political opponents?
Who arrested Tinubu for patroling Lagos with bullion vans stuck with stolen cash?

Power is ephemeral and BAT may need to do the unthinkable to retain the crown else it's gone and a good majority of the masses are against this government

It is the system we operate. A feudal system where questions cannot be asked before or during the fact, only after the fact. That is after the person is out of power, out of office, or out of relevance.

There is no way to end corruption that way. Accountability and transparency must be implemented at source or we keep on chasing shadows and losing resources.

The other day on a phone in radio program a caller was asking the di.ple question where the first lady got the billions she is donating to crises victims in various locations. This simple question could not meet with any answer and this is symptomatic of the way the nation is run.

No questions asked when the deed is on. It is only years after when the resources have been totally lost will issues or matters arise. This country is very badly run without the real owners of the enterprise, the citizens any wiser or concerned.

Shame.

Why are you guys embarrassing yourself on SM with your poor grasp of basic laws that a pupil of primary school is already aware of.

If you don't know that the law mandated every elected person from councillor to the president to declare their asset to a Code of Conduct Bureau, then you are not fit to engage in political discussions.

How far with Ganduje, the dollar-stuffing babariga thiéf and immediate past national chairman of the APC? And what about Yahaya Bello, whom the EFCC chairman swore on national TV he would prosecute or resign? Today, Yahaya Bello is walking free and marrying new wives.
