But in a jungle, I think the Hippo is the only option. The weak point of Hippo is that it can't run over a longer distance, but it has speed over a shorter distance, only if you can outrun it.

Lions are designed to hunt via quick bursts of speed so they can accelerate very quickly from a stationary position. Usain Bolt doesn't stand a chance!
