what is the telephone all about

When the telephone rings, the one that picks it up is given something. It could be a treat or task or even punishment.

In squid game, one guy got scrumptious burger (I think) as a treat so the guy started hovering around the telephone. Not letting others get too close so he would be the one to pick up again.

The next time the phone rang, he was given another meal but told he can not eat it. However, within a timeframe, he must get another player to take the food from him and eat or else he will be sent out of the game.

If you see how this guy was begging people to take the food . Finally, nobody took the food and he was ejected from the game immediately.

I suspect biggie’s red telephone is going to be like this.

This was me defending Faith in his first week, you can check my comments:

Me: Why do you say so? It just seems he has high standards for himself and he’s aware of his shortcomings (no pun intended) in this game. I like him, he’s just a nerd

You can see that I have nothing against intellectual people, in fact I was rooting for him because you rarely get intellectual people win in these games. Between then and now, I’ve reevaluated that he is actually egotistical and arrogant and he doesn’t know how to talk to people. Maybe this is a role he has decided to adopt, which fair play, but it is completely unlikeable.

I don’t like proud people, be it intelligence or money, and more importantly I don’t like people that don’t know how to talk.

First week Faith showed you could be smarter and have emotional intelligence, which is why majority of the housemates liked him then. Since Sultana bounced him, I don’t recognize this new person.
