timbros: Enzo5 look at this conversation and tell me why you ask me to take the L.
Why are you talking about Colwill injury when we have fixed the attack? Can't JP and Delap produce the goals to hand us EPL title irrespective of what is happening in our defence? Your L is fat. timbros: Airmark said we have 10 defenders so therefore, we are stacked in defence.
Our defence is very okay with Badashile, Disasi, Dr. Fofana, soon to retire Silva, Dr. Reece, Dr. Chilly etc etc...
Let's focus on attack. Once fixed, we are challenging for the next title! timbros:
Is it the Colwill we watched earlier in the season or another Colwill? But you can't be responsible and accept supporting your Jakujaku Jackson and condemning our defenders. Below is what a responsible man does. Ibime: Nah Jackson gotta go!
Airmark done win!
I apologise for taking same sides with people who backed Torres and Morata! |

swiz123: We don’t have the defence to win the league, even if Colwill wasn’t injured.
We all know how this story will end; Chelsea will drop vital points needed to pull it off. Just look at the nonsense Sanchez did during the dying minutes of the CWC final; we are familiar with his game and shouldn’t expect anything less.
We see our defense jittery when teams break through our midfield multiple times a game. We have witnessed Colwill lose vital physical battles. James will get injured and Gusto will make us cry blood as usual.
In fact, going into the new season with such defence reeks of the assumption that we will outplay all our opponents next season. The league is a marathon, and we don’t have the personnel for it. Is there any defence that can survive multiple one on ones? Our defence will easily win the league, but our midfield cannot with a ghost worker there Otamendi, Stones, Matip and worse defenders than ours have put together 100 point seasons Our weakness is the midfield ghost worker |

nateevs: Which one concern me with your incessant penchant for public validation?
I have been preaching for a long time that our support cast is timid and that we need it upgraded - I went on a long-term campaign against the likes of Madueke, Sterling and the low productive players. We bundled out the duds, and we went and got 6 players, 3 more to show. I am happy.
I vocally campaigned against Poch. I explained technically, tactically and business-wise, why he's the wrong fit for the club .
I also stood firmly by Maresca, and explained soundly, again, technically and tactically, why I think he's on the right track, even when it looked very unpopular to do so. You know how much insult I collect from Diggz when I dared to say that Maresca was a brilliant player-fitness manager, with the way he was managing James for long term involvement? Even suggesting that he was trying to manage Sanchez into confidence. I was called enemy of the club.
Now everyone has come around to Maresca. No more Ireti. Folks are enjoying success through the bacdoor, and riding on positive expectations to win the freaking Champions League as a minimum, when only in March this year, 90% of people on here were saying that we made a mistake, and we should have stiuck with Poch. And that includes you who didn't believe.
Do you see me typing this everyday, and sending screenshots to every backyard looking for compliments?
I don't have low self-esteem. I said what i said, and it's etched in history for young folks to see. So free me oga. I have work abeg. LMAO. this is funny , especially last part |

You are a regular here. Don't you see instances where I even screenshot the number of times I will see his mentions once I sign in. Sometimes 8 mentions! Dude is obsessed with me. And lying against me!
Look at Enzo5 telling me to take an L, why? Airmark said we should fix attack. Period. Now we have fixed attack and they are giving us target of finishing 4th. Why not win the league? They came back and gave Colwill as excuse. I never knew defence is important to fight for league title. Meanwhile I have been talking about a balanced team right from Adam. Enzo5 did not see that because airmark keeps spamming here with false narratives. I did not see that? Guy calm down, pray that one day I don't have your time and respond to you |

Our weakness is the midfield ghost worker how is enzo Fernandez a ghost worker? A player who has the ability to launch long balls from distance like Mikel. Score important goals at crucial moment, and Can slot in at centerback when called upon |

I should have w conversation with someone who won't set aside his ego on an over beat up issue. You went pro defense even when our attack was failing to convert basic chances, you undermined our defense so I am not surprised you don't even know the value colwill has had to the team. Explaining it to you will give me headache which I don't want |

Will the citadel of football knowledge tell us it was achieved solely on getting no 9 only?.
Or will they tell us it's multiple support cast increasing their goal outputs. if we win the league and you still have time to engage in such debate then your matter eh, e pass kwam o |

20 non penalty league goals each from jp and Delap will give us two hands on the tittle. |

timbros: Airmark is not a Chelsea fan, he is a fan of selected Chelsea players. He is here just to support certain players and force other players down the throat of anyone whose opinion differs from his own.
We were arguing Chelsea attack and Chelsea defence but he somehow twisted everything to me supporting Jackson and wanting him at the club no matter what. Like, seriously! Is Jackson the only attacker in Chelsea?
The bolded above is exactly what I want.. Chelsea to win and haul trophies.
But JP will score and airmark will mention me, as IF I'm angry that JP scored. Sancho score airmark will look for a post made months ago and quote it completely out of context. Cucurella have a good game he will mention Ibime. As in, nitpicking stuffs... But when Chelsea as a club is being discussed, the technical and tactical aspect Chelsea as a club, he will disappear. This is one of your numerous posts you condemned the personnels in the defence and as usual defended your jakujaku Jackson.. Who was the true fan between me and you? Thunder fire you, Gucciboy and all those who wanted Jakujaku Jackson to wreck our team. timbros: Again, Jackson is not the only striker who miss chances.
Are you telling me that it's Fofana James and Colwill that will help you keep clean sheets that will improve the defence? You still blasted Colwill during the season because we didn't sign another CB as you suggested after Tosin was brought in. timbros: Have your defence improved with Colwill? How many cleansheet can you boast of this season?
Shame on you . Lowkey you are pained that we became the World champions with no single goal from your jakujaku Jackson and without addition of a new CB. Now you are brewing another target since you got disgraced at the CWC and your 'i told you so' didn't come to the fore. The day we throw out your jakujaku Jackson, shots will be fired on your dumb head. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Enzo5: 8:45pm On Aug 12, 2025 |
Idc if Chelsea sign a CB or not, they have been trying to sign doukoure and are also losing out on guehi. Maybe because this is their plan
Summary of @TheAthleticFC report: Due to injuries to key Chelsea centre-backs, the following young CBs will be stepping in:
RCB: Josh Acheampong as COVER for Wesley Fofana 🤕 CCB: Aaron Anselmino as COVER for Levi Colwill🤕 LCB: Jorrel Hato as COVER for Benoit Badiashile🤕
And I support it, I want to see more of Josh Aaron and Hato
The Athletic stated that his specialised position is playing as the middle of three defenders (CCB) in possession at Boca Juniors.

Katcall: when maresca was making tactical errors, you did not say anything. Now you come out like a rabbit from a rabbit hole to defend him becos he won sth Nateevs left Jakujaku Jackson issue and was busy talking about his support for Maresca. We are talking about 'head' he was bringing 'tail' issue. This is one of his numerous posts defending his adopted son, Jakujaku Jackson. He wouldn't talk about his replacement that contributed to our becoming the World champions. He typed thousands of words with no single substance. In order to shy away from getting dragged by his post below where he said we didn't need a prolific striker, he called JP, a support cast. Shame. nateevs: Like I say, Airmark is creating a followership on this topic but only on half the story.
This is the nuance. Only 1 of those big chances fell to the striker yesterday. The other 3 fell to Enzo, Madueke and Sterling. All 3 failed to convert a single one.
If we had the prolific Halaand on our side, the score would have 4-3. If we didn't, but had say Nico Williams on the left, Olise on the right, and say a Lampard type midfielder instead of Enzo, it would have been 5-4 in favour of Chelsea. That's the other half of the story.
We need to score 80 goals minimum to stand a chance of finishing in top four. 87+ for top 3 and 90+ for top 2.
A prolific striker is only going to get you 25 (PL only) of those. Where's the rest going to come from?
That's why the more pertinent problem is the support cast we have and not a prolific striker. nateevs: Statistical neophytes coming up with bullshit again. There is no striker alive that will finish most of our chances. Find us the stats and prove us wrong.
If you think we are wrong, name names. Give us the strikers that you know will bury most of our chances. |

The one gan gan that you are trying to prove to everyone that you got right, you are now side-stepping.
Are Bellotti, Vlahovic, Dovbyk and Guirassy all upgrades to Jackson?
I don bold am for you. So you no go say you no see am. So abeg Uncle Airmark. We don plenty now wey dey wait for dis answer. Nateevs wey dey tag and ask me questions last year October, now has no time to talk about how his Jakujaku Jackson's replacements helped us to become the World champions. Guirassy and Gyokeres nominated, where's your jakujaku Jackson?
