All their houses are police quarters today.. and the police people have turned the place to ruins ..one is located at federal housing estate and the other one at nguru street, cbn quarters...just opposite ShopRite
You know the town well well. But one police station was named after the boy.

As he was sipping his soft drink and taking a look at the glittering surrounding of the hotel, he could have imagined having a hotel of his own too later in the future. As he was dreaming, his vision became blurry and the sounds around him became muzzled and dull. In a matter of minutes, he dozed off, never to wake up again.

Been a while. Part of the house was used as a police quarters if I'm not mistaken.
The whole of that place is a busy hub now. You may not recognize there again. The police quarters there is housing both a mammy market and lock up shops with too many activities. His other son are doing business there as well.

9jatruecrime:
In the mid-1990s, Imo State, Nigeria, witnessed one of its darkest crime stories ,  the Otokoto ritual killings. This tragic case was not just about a gruesome murder; it exposed how ritual practices, corruption, and greed had deeply rooted themselves in society. The events shook Owerri and left a lasting scar on Nigeria’s history.

The Otokoto ritual killings took place in September 1996 when 11-year-old Anthony Ikechukwu Okoronkwo, a groundnut seller, was lured into the Otokoto Hotel in Owerri. He was promised business opportunities but instead met a horrifying death.

Check source for full story and how it ended. His head was severed, and his body buried ,  part of a ritual killing meant to use human parts for wealth. The Otokoto Hotel was owned by Vincent Duru, a wealthy businessman with strong political connections. The killing was carried out by one of his staff, Innocent Ekeanyanwu, who was arrested while transporting the boy’s head in a polythene bag.

Sadly this ritual killings are a daily occurrence and are largly under reported. A friend of mine who is into construction say, most mansions in the east always has a large pit or secret underground structure in a vast compound.
The saddest is it is not the ritual that made them rich.

I think those who indulge in ritual - they have undiagnosed Psychosis or psychological issues.

The source of their wealth is not the violence they committed. Nothing special in any human body that can bring you money.

Wait till they do the one on Awkuzu Sars wasted thousands of Igbo youth under Peter Agulu.

They loaded tipper lorries with bodies of slain Igbo youths and dumped it in Ezi River in Anambra.

It is the single biggest massacre of Igbos outside the civil war.
