Hakimi, Salah and Guirassy excelled in the French,English and German leagues respectively as well as in the Champions league unlike Victor Osimhen who scored loads of goals in a lowly rated retirement league against weak defenders and poor goalkeepers.

As long as Victor remains in the Turkish league , he will never win CAF best or get shortlisted for Ballon D’or. If he likes let him score 1000 goals, nobody cares because the quality of opposition in the league is abysmal save for Fenerbache.

It is sad seeing a hugely talented player going to Turkey in his prime just because of extra money he will end up lavishing on his sycophantic friends and fans. His more ambitious contemporaries like Sesko and Gyokores took pay cuts to build their legacy but my brother felt too big listening to overhype by boot licking friends, journalists and influencers who made him think he was Messi or Ronaldo!
