Thanks for the encouragement & motivation. She's is a Civil Servant at the Federal Level She's has a functioning HMO/NHIS package, I'll make enquiries if it covers Major sugery & We'll reach out to the gynecologist for further steps. Well, Noted, Thanks once again.
Really sorry bro. It shall be well with you and your wife. Depression will solve nothing, you have to be strong.

If it helps to know, some of us are fast approaching 40 without a spouse, talk more of children. I understand how you feel but we should be thankful that your wife even has access to NHIS.

Please do your findings, change HMO if you must, but take advantage of the scheme to seek proper medical solutions. May God ease our affairs.

I understand how you feel bro... But, first calm down.
It is not as bad as it sounds... You both just have to determine to work through this challenges together.
First and foremost, go and register for a comprehensive HMO (choose a package that covers major surgery). This will greatly reduce the medical bills and make things easier for both of you.
Discuss with the gynaecologist on the best way to proceed with the necessary medications and surgery then go for it.

Your wife needs you now more than ever before... You can reach out for moral support at anytime and any day by just mentioning me in your comments.

I wish you all the best and the strength to weather the storm!!!
You are a treasure of inestimable value

Follow Dawnomike's comment above.

There are actually worst cases of infertility than yours. With the right steps, this can be addressed. Imagine if it were to be severe case of PCOS or non obstructive azoospermia(no sperm cells), it would have been a different ball game.

Please and please, don't go into traditional medicine. You will waste your time, money and probably expose your wife to harm. They usual preach things like delivering fibroid without surgery or making it to shrink with herbs, na scam.

All will be well brother.
You don't know what you're saying. Any issues from husband need just a life style changing and it will resolve on it's own. In my own case, it was low spam counts and I stop drinking anything spirit and sugar, after 1 month, it rose to millions, after three months it rose to 7millions, about 5 month, my wife took in.

We married A Year ago. We decided to wait for a year before having kids. We started trying 3 few months but no success. I told both of us needs to get tested. I did Sperm Analysis & the result is good, I'm very fertile.

She did pelvic scan, and in the scan, She has fibroid (Submocousal fibroid 5.5cm). The news broke me and I was very sad, I never imagined I'll be in this kind of situation. We went to the gynecologist and He told us to go for HSG to check her fallopian tube, The result showed that Both Tubes are blocked.

I've not been myself for the last couple of days. I had to pretend to be strong because She was down & has been crying as well. This are two serious fertility issues and Her chances of conception is very low. Even if The gynecologist tells us to do the IVF(Which I don't even have money for it cause it's vey expensive) They'll still have to remove the fibroid.

This are very expensive procedures that are not even guaranteed that it will work and She will conceive. I'm the only male child in my family, in my early 30's. Pressure will start coming from all directions and also considering my my age, I don't pray to experience delay with child birth. I just decided to pour own my mind here. I'm really down, I don't know what to do.
My wife had similar experience and now she is on family planning after enough Kids. My sincere advise for you is to go the medical way. Let the doctors help you open-up the fallopian tubes. Do not go herbal! I repeat, do not go anything herbal for now untill maybe shes confirmed pregnant. I wasted alot of money going herbal and had to still come back and do it Medically...after wasting time and money. I give you 3 months after unblocking the tubes..she'll definitely conceive and you will be a happy man again. God will bless your union..stay positive.

Don't be deceived, there's a very good chance your wife was aware of all these well before you married her. You either start looking for a new second wife or be ready for the chances of never having any biological child.

Not your wife's infertility, but your minds instability is causing your mental health issues.

If it was not her "infertility" it would be something else. Focus on fixing your the "infertility" of your mind before blaming your wife for what is going on inside you.

No worries my brother,
Go to Lord's Chosen Chrismatic Revival Ministry. It just a small case, only a prayer from my pastor which he don't need to touch you or see you and you will go home and bear children. You can watch us on YouTube and we have a crusade 22-24 August or report to any Lord's Chosen branch close to you

Save towards it. The procedures are not that expensive as it seems online. I can suggest some combo if you want that people use to unblock .

This is the time to console her and get close to her emotionally. Peace be with you!
Re: My Wife's Serious Fertility Issue Is Affecting My Mental Health by AndyCole16(m):
@OP I wish you will read this, if you can

This is my personal but different outlook.
I got married in 2018 at age 36, wify was 29. I was working while my she had no serious job but was all around looking for government job.

Just like you we decided to abstain from having baby for a year to recover from money spent on wedding and better stabilize financially. After the one year ended, we started trying.... Year 1...2. nothing we now started looking for medical solutions. Medical report showed my wife had multiple fibrous that weigh on vaginal wall and also threatening to block fallopian tube (Of course she was aware before but she does not know how much and size they are before marriage). Doctor said we MUST do it even for her own health. We had it, it was successful (HMO paid for it in full including feeding, after surgery care, and drugs).
By 3rd year, she went for 2 different, painful HSG (seriously my wife suffered)
Later, we started trying again to conceive, early in year 4 if our marriage, Doctor advised we also do Hydrotubation (to take away any inpurity or blockage to the ovaries). After these experiences, I gave up, I can't stand seeing her suffering like this anymore... I can stay without a child, we will fine.

Year ended... Year five 5 kicked in and almost at the end when my wife deliver the good news that the joy has finally happened!!

Had my baby at 42, I'm super Cool with it and we are happy

I noticed the below from your post;
✓ You used other people's clock to set your time. Life is not competition. My youngest brother with 10 years difference had all his baby before I have mine
✓ You need to be more concerned about your wife than anybody. It seems you gave her less preference. If she suffers from depression....then the challenges triple.
✓ Focus on making her/yourself better while seeking for solutions (my wife actually gets the government job within those period). If you concerned yourself too much with having kids, it wont come. I don't know why, but that is it.
✓ Lastly, please be prayerful. God can support you in all your ways to reduce your anxiety and calm your nerves. I have tried it, it works

I wish you well
