It's actually what you have read that is affecting your mental health. Fibroid won't stop your wife from getting pregnant. Virtually most women have fibroid. Just that the size differs. It's nature's way of occupying where has been left empty for years. In Agriculture, it's called "weed". This is from experience. Believe me. Secondly, the part of the blocked fallopian tube. That's where I can't advice. But if you ask her questions like; have you done abortion before? And she says NO. If she's saying the truth, then relax man. As long as there's God, believe me, she'll conceive. But if you are in a hurry to get a child, Nature will humble you. so just love her and take things easy. Trust me, just enjoy this time you're both alone. Because of kids start coming, you'll never have the freedom you have now. Pls, don't listen to the advice of removing fibroid. IT WILL GROW AGAIN. Before I forget, what drug or family planning did she use for the 1 year that she didn't get pregnant? |

OP blocked fallopian tubes can be treated surgically and fibroids can be removed. It’s good that the cause is known and the treatment is possible. Some people have infertility issues but don’t even know why which makes their case even more difficult. You know the cause and the cause is treatable. So start planning on how to actualize it. |

Thank you for encouraging the man in question and for making yourself available for moral support. More blessings for you.Amen. quote author=dawnomike post=136440168]I understand how you feel bro... But, first calm down. It is not as bad as it sounds... You both just have to determine to work through this challenges together. First and foremost, go and register for a comprehensive HMO (choose a package that covers major surgery). This will greatly reduce the medical bills and make things easier for both of you. Discuss with the gynaecologist on the best way to proceed with the necessary medications and surgery then go for it. Your wife needs you now more than ever before... You can reach out for moral support at anytime and any day by just mentioning me in your comments. I wish you all the best and the strength to weather the storm!!![/quote] |

Your wife truly needs your support during this difficult time. Remember the love that brought you together; it can be a powerful source of strength as you both navigate through this storm. I gently encourage you not to discuss this with anyone else, including her family and friends, as their well-meaning intentions may unintentionally add more pressure. Building a strong friendship in your marriage is crucial. Be there for your wife, and let her see you as a trusted friend. When she's feeling down, having someone to confide in can make all the difference, and you can be that person for her. As someone in the medical field, we understand that bilateral tubal occlusion often means that IVF is the best route to conception. It's essential to talk with your gynecologist, who can guide you on the best options for your family moving forward. Wishing you both all the best during this challenging time. Take care. |

KobeMan:Hmmmm, I experienced the same thing when I got married in 2015. She did Fibroid operation in 2016, no results. We both went to test ourselves, Doctors found out I've no fertility issues...My wife did HSG , we found out both Fallopian tubes are block. Omo, we tried many herbal remedies, no way. By December this year (2025), my marriage will be 10 years. Only God know what my Mother (RIP MAMA, 2023) went through for my cause. Anyway, My girlfriend is currently Pregnant, we did it just once and she picked... Bro, the ball is in your court. No time to waste time ! |

This was my exact state in 2013. Her fibroid was growing to the point that people were congratulating us thinking it was pregnancy. We surgically removed the fibroid and she conceived only three months after, even though the doctor said six months minimum. The tubes opened on their own. I advise you take things easy, a step at a time. Do not rush into any kind of treatment, consult widely and narrow down on what you believe will work. Also, she needs to be stable emotionally and let her have her say in deciding on how to address the problem. You will be fine. I have two beautiful kids now through natural conceptions. |

KobeMan:Sorry for your plight, but are both of you not suppose to do all these test before you commit?? To find out how fertile both of you are, so to make informed decision whether to go ahead or not if she isn't fertile then you know what you're entering. I'm married for 2years 3 months with a daughter. We did all the test before our nuptial. We rise by lifting others |

Let me share a secret: 3 scans showed my wife had fibroid and she could not conceive for about a year. Someone recommended Tetrapleura tetraptera popularly called àìdan in Yorùbá. After few months of drinking the infusion, she went for two separate scans which confirmed the fibroid has disappeared. She conceived few weeks later and now, she's a proud mother of three boys. You can try it too if it will work for you. |

This is the problem men inherit from women when they allow the woke mentality get a better part of them. If you had married a much younger girl, she would have gotten pregnant before fibroids overtake her reproductive system. NATURE DOESN'T SUPPORT WOMEN WAITING LONGER BEFORE HAVING CHILDREN Meanwhile, this problem is very common among the woke wannabe southern Nigerians. Many couples are battling with infertility issues due to fibroids. As you don enter the wahala, na to manage carry the cross and pray for God's intervention. |

dawnomike:kobeman Follow this advice please. Your wife would be needing comprehensive specialist care. Get a proper HMO bro. - The location of that fibroid coupled with the infertility makes surgery almost certain. Even if you do an IVF, it becomes more difficult with a submucus fibroid - Also, the fibroid has to be sorted out before they go after the tubal blockage. Lastly , you shouldn’t be under any undue pressure. Changing your wife or getting another one won’t solve the problem . You guys are still relatively young and definitely have time to figure things out . You don’t even know what the next woman would be coming with . Life is more than child bearing . What if you come down with a deadly cancer or life altering injury ? Would you be happy if she left you because of that ? No one can leave your life for you . Don’t let anyone push you |
