The highlight of watching law and the city for me is Huiji's dad fraud case. I really love how they all took up the case. It was beautiful to watch. How dare you mess with a barrister's family?

Their friendship is such a breath of fresh air. I love it. Especially how easy it was for them to accept huiji into their circle.

Lol not gu hye sun unni blasting Ahn Jae Hyun and the variety show he's on for always bringing their divorce as a topic even after 5 years. First of all, if she's dragging shows for doing that, I totally understand but these cheap shows will use what they have. You're a celebrity who had a public marriage and a public messy divorce, of course they'll talk about you but honestly in this case they didn't even mention her and ahn jae hyun did not even talk about her. All that happened was someone said I hope you meet someone good to start a relationship with. How is that them dragging her. That's literally what anyone would wish a single person. Also they could have had a classy quiet divorce but she was the one acting like a crazy person and airing their dirty linen outside, now she's forming victim. She needs to rest and seek psychological help. This is why I keep begging people not to act out of emotions. 9 out of 10 times, you'll end up regretting it. Also tbh a lot of these variety shows need to chill with how they use people's private lives for talking points cos a lot of them do that but then again I guess that's one of the downsides of being a public figure. It is well with everyone. Unni needs to move on, whether she makes noise or not, it doesn't change the fact that she's a divorced woman and as long as she and her ex are popular people, they'll always be talked about.

Here's my review on "good boy". Because of @toykathy I'll try to keep it short and simple. Though that will not stop me from ranting anyway

"That Park Bo Gum's character survived this drama was a miracle! Honestly, if they had him sacrificing himself in the pursuit of justice, That would have made him more of a noble character/hero than what he ended up as in this drama." ~ Anonymous

1. "Good Boy" felt like a high-budget project dominated by one voice, overshadowing the capable team, and relying heavily on presentation and visuals.
2. The drama's premise of ex-national athletes turning into cops was intriguing, with a chaotic yet enjoyable team dynamic and strong antagonists initially.
3. As the series progressed, the novelty faded, and the pacing became inconsistent, with awkward tonal shifts and a disappointing villain arc.
4. The focus on Yoon Dong Ju (Park Bo Gum) was excessive, overshadowing the ensemble cast and reducing team dynamics to mere support roles.
5. The romance lacked chemistry, feeling more like friendship, while the bromance between Park Bo Gum and Lee Sang-yi's character was more compelling.
6. Park Bo Gum's acting was a highlight, while other side characters performed well; however, Kim Soo Hyun's acting felt unconvincing.
7. Cinematography and production were polished, with well-crafted action sequences, particularly the neon-lit fight scene.
8. Overall, "Good Boy" aimed to be deep and thrilling but faltered in execution, becoming dull and repetitive in the second half, recommended mainly for Park Bo Gum fans or action drama enthusiasts. I managed to watch till the end only for the action and for kim Soo Hyun. I give it a solid 6/10.

Law and the city has ended. I love it when writers give us exactly what they promised. The writer promised a slice of life drama about lawyers and that is exactly what we got. Thank you writernim. It's funny how everyone ended up leaving meanwhile the pregnant person who everyone would have expected to be the first to leave is the person that stayed lol. My only disappointment with the drama is we never got to know the real relationship between Kim hyungmin and that long haired thug. Why did he hate her so much? Why was she hell bent on "saving" him? I guess the writer didn't know where else to go with the script 🤣 of course typical with most Korean dramas, we never got to see munjeong with pregnancy. One minute they say she's pregnant, the next minute Dem say she don born. Oh well.

Good news first. Seo in guk and Park joo hyun have been cast in an office romance drama. Here for the cast. I love it and can't wait!

Not so good news(es) lol. chae jong hyeop had signed on to do a movie but is suddenly pulling out. His agency is saying the production company caused the problem by delaying the shoot and it's affecting his other schedules, the production company is saying no such thing happened and they are going to sue him for breach of contract if they can't find a way to settle the matter amicably 😩 obviously I'm not there so I don't know who is telling the truth. Maybe chae jong hyeop and his agency saw opportunity for a better and more profitable job and that is why they want to dump the movie or maybe truly the production company has been pushing back the filming schedules. Anyway here's hoping they find a way to sort it out so my mans won't get into any legal troubles or get blacklisted by producers.

Also I'm hearing Park ji hyun will not be returning for flex x cop 2 cos of scheduling conflict and I'm just like 😭😭😭 tbh I didn't fully read the news cos just the heading alone broke my heart and I closed the tab🤣 if she's not coming back, they should better cancel the drama cos what's the point 😔 me that was hoping we'll finally get romance in season 2 😭 can't they wait for her? 😭 Lol anyway esom didn't come back for season 2 of taxi driver and the drama is still going ahead to have a season 3. I guess these ones will also find a way to make it work. Are they going to replace her character with another actress or totally write her out 😩

August has been a dry month for me drama wise. I'm not watching any of the currently airing dramas but 3 of the dramas I've been looking forward to have started dropping teasers which means they'll start airing probably from next month. Can't wait!
