This Ibom Air, if you land at uyo , the level of begging at that airport is alarming. I began to wonder who carry airport put for this people at Uyo.
As I landed and stepped out of the plane, begging by airport staff, then step out of the airport those airport taxi drivers behave as if na Motor park, they will be dragging your luggage up and down as you will be shouting. Terrible experience.
But their Pilot and Air hostess were nice and superb that day.

I still maintain my stand everything that happened in that plan was the girls fault. She was the one that assaulted the air hostess.
We become so emotional on issues in this county, if not for the way her boobs came out during the struggle no sensible person will support her unruly behavior.

A friend of mine told me the most devastated and heartbroken person in the whole saga was the guy that paid her flight ticket to Lagos that faithful day. All he had planned to do, the marathonic and "bedmatic" styles for that night just fizzled away like breeze.

It's well. I think everyday we have one or two lessons to learn. She has learnt her lessons and we all also have learnt from her actions and inactions.
Her case is a testament to the great force we have in this country, when Nigerians talk, people listen all over the world.
I hope she recovers quickly so she can come give her own side of the story so the full picture can be gotten.

This should not be an excuse. I have flown Lagos to Kigali enroute Johannesburg with quarter passengers on Kenya airways.... The flight was not canceled..

Hmmmm...those airline operators, very unprofessional! They delay and cancel flights with reckless abandon and lack foresight and the diplomacy necessary to handle razz humans.

Don’t blame airline crew blame the Nigerian government who failed in its capacity to provide Airport Security Apparatus and the airport crew took laws into their own hands. They are not trained like police and the way they handled the situation was about the best you can get from them. The airline crew member that blocked her from going back to her seat also has a lot orientation classes to be checked into. Finally, the victim needs to have a sober reflection and access the situation to guy her for posterity.

I wish she was calm through it all, but she wasn't, so they could easily get evidence against her, even if she was on her right.

No one has the right to ask you to switch off your phone on the airplane, just put it on flight mode and that's all!

You have a law background yet, you don't know it is wrong to jump into conclusion without hearing from the other party.

The account from Ibom air and the video you watched about her fighting the airline staff cannot give you a complete picture of the whole incident: how it started from Uyo and the commotion that ensued later in Lagos.

The government has already ordered her immediate release from detention and that was because after investigation they discovered she was unduly provoked and humiliate right from Uyo to Lagos where they attempted to falsely detain her for no reason, not caring if she had an important appointment to keep with on that same day.

Other passengers who boarded the same aircraft with her from Uyo have all come out say that there was never a time the lady refused to switch off her phone, and that it was a simple case of misunderstanding which was excalated by an overbearing cabin crew member, but was finally settled by the intervention of other passengers before take off,

But surprisingly when they landed in Lagos the airline decided to detain her in the plane and hand her over to the police. What for? In fact it wasn't arrest but attempted kidnapping .
Why?
Answer me Mr lawyer .

And again, Mr lawyer, which law says that if an airline passenger will not switch off her phone immediately when asked to do so ,but later does so, she must be arrested at the next airport ?

Finally, if you truly feel aggrieved and in your right, get a good lawyer (if you can afford one) and Sue that airline for being unprofessional in handling such a simple crisis.
