Manchester United are ahead of their Premier League rivals Chelsea and Arsenal, as Real Madrid currently top UEFA’s coefficient rankings.

In the latest rankings released by UEFA on Wednesday via their website, Real Madrid are ahead of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, who occupy the top three positions.

Manchester United are in 13th place, while Chelsea and Arsenal sit in 14th and 15th respectively.

The likes of Liverpool and Manchester City are ranked above United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

What criteria was used? these ranking means nothing anyways.

Well, we all know that the ranking is based on points & coefficients which often does not reflect the true strength of teams.

In reality PSG and Chelsea should rank highest currently.

It's normal because Uefa has a lot of criteria but it won't make United play in any Uefa competition this coming season.

If it's top 2 from each country
Then Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal are off to a great competing start for the next edition in 2029. They have the beginner advantage based on 2024/2025 europe performance.
Maintaining the consistency is key..

They have from 29,500- 36,000 points between them..
With arsenal in 36,000 based on their UCL run this season..

Though manU will have zero coefficient this coming season(2025/2026) based on their absence from continental football.



Mancity with poorer coefficient of about 14,000+ this season will have to do mightly well to regain a spot and boot out one of Chelsea, Arsenal or even ManU before 2029.
(much easier for City to sustain tempo against ManU since manU will score zero by end of 2025/2026 season(non-qualification)

So ManU has to up their game heavily in 2026/2027 and beyond to cover up their absence this season(2025/2026) so as to stand a competing chance in 2029 club World cup. They have the greatest task to do.
