Today dat people live up to max 120 years, governments around the globe are finding it difficult to fund pension payments for the elderly from Tax receipts. When we start living up to 1,000 years, where will the government get the income tax receipts to pay pensions

Now that birth rates are dwindling and the kids born nowadays don't really want to work, na hin be say old age poverty will increase exponentially if the government can't raise enough tax income to pay the massive pension bills for a growing populace that are living for 9 more centuries than they are today.

But I still feel even though the process of life and death cannot be altered but it can actually be prolonged and improved through the advancement of modern technology.

Man is not technology but technology has played a part in biological advancement over time- cloning,test tube babies, surrogate delivery, egg freezing etc are just some examples of the roles technology has played in human biological development over time.
