Reality TV star and former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina “Phyna” Otabor, has publicly accused Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and the Dangote Group over a road accident involving one of the company’s trucks, which she claims left her sister severely injured. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In a fiery social media post, Phyna alleged that the Nigerian police were instructed to remove the plate number from the truck involved in the incident. She further revealed that a Dangote Group manager was expected to visit the police station handling the matter but questioned why no representative had reached out to see her sister in the hospital.

“If that truck and your driver should leave that station, I will be right back. I’m attending to my sister first. Na money you get, you no be God… My God is bigger. Enough is enough, una don too chop people, but this time, it won’t be the same,” she wrote in a mix of English and pidgin.

Phyna warned that she would not allow the vehicle or the driver to be released until justice is served, vowing to hold the company accountable for what she described as a pattern of harm caused by its trucks.

At the time of this report, the Dangote Group has not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.

The reality star’s post has since sparked heated conversations online, with fans and sympathizers demanding transparency and swift justice in the case.

In every African country I’ve visited, heavy trucks usually move at night. Even here in Jos, you rarely see trailers on the road during the day.

The rate of bloodshed is alarming. Dangote needs to call his drivers to order and stop hiring these young, inexperienced almajiri drivers . They drive as if they’re competing to see who can kill the most
