It's EMS crafty nature, they'll eventually start opening room for Negotiations when you refuse to take your item.
I believe Ali has paid them already but they still want the elephants head for their pocket

It means say e just arrive Benin 😃

If reach Ekpoma, den go write say e dey Ekpoma and put phone number.

Jeje ask for directions to their Ekpoma office from the number they put there if it is reachable and go pick it there because if you wait for rider to bring it to your house, ... .. that's another set 3-5 days waiting with it's heart ache

Most orders from Europe, UK and the US via post office usually comes through them.

They are the worst because most packages through them usually comes with hefty custom duty.

I remember a lady leaving her fairly used baby clothes package sent to her from the US, to the EMS, and it happened to come via EMS when she couldn't pay the exorbitant custom duty of around ₦170k. This was around 2016.

My cousin bought a Xiaomi phone then, Xiaomi Note 3 or something. The custom duty was half the cost of the phone. She refuses to pick it from the EMS. They sent it back. She got her refund and bought it again. This time it came through normal post via NIPOST. Speedaf not a thing then. This was around 2017.

The last time I picked anything from the EMS was a package from Europe, a kinda flashdrive. I paid duty, can't remember how much.

Luckily, I have no business with the EMS these days.

Just Speedaf and chill.

go to your post office at ogbomosho and check it might be there .. if not complain to them they will contact osogbo post office for it to be re enrouted

Items been at custom clearance for a while. Even shipment from Aliexpress is also very slow.

I want to buy random things from AliExpress. Most of them has high shipping cost, while a few are free. Is there a way I can lump everything to be shipped together and reduce shipping cost? Or any better suggestions to cut cost.

Buy things with "Choice" tag. They'll lump them together and ship to you. Choice packages have free shipping.

My package has been stucked between Lagos to Ibadan for the past 7 days now. I have even called speedaf twice and they said they will escalate it, till today no improvement yet o

Please Guys, avoid as much as possible canceling a paid order on AliExpress.
Our traditional banks are rip off.
I ordered something recently on AliExpress and had to cancel it before it was shipped. Exchange rate for UBA at ₦1586/$ at the time I paid.
On getting the refund after about 2 weeks of order cancelation, it was refunded at ₦1535/$.

Thank God it's a small amount order.

It's like I don finally enter this shipping wahala. This item was placed almost a month now.. And it's been stuck on custom clearance since on the 4th as attached, 12 days now. Pls what's going on?
None of my items has stayed with customs for more than 3 days. It's even past the scheduled delivery date.

I can't even get the tracking on NIPOST, I guess it has to be cleared in custom first.

Pls who do I have to contact to know why it's taking this much time? And how pls? Thanks!
