Chatgpt is just a glorified secretary. It's mainly for the now common "stay at home, 1-man, business people" who need little research for their work which they can get done on Google anyway but they also need a chat partner that makes them feel they have a staff working for them. Lol.

And like you said, it has a deep confirmation bias, which is what makes it so "sticky" marketing wise. It agrees with what you are thinking and makes you assume you're always correct and could even be a genius. Lol.

But for the coders, I think it helps anyway.

But for someone to make it a mentor is the ultimate risk; you're simply spinning on one spot "wisdom wise", questioning your own self. And everyone knows that the wisdom (not knowledge) level that took you to a particular level will never take you beyond that level.

It is a lie. I'm a very frequent users of ChatGPT. ChatGPT is just like a dragon. It all depends on the way you train ChatGPT. You can visibly instruct it to stop agreeing with you and chastise you constructively. Bro, it's not about having it, it is about how you use it efficiently.
