Why is it that the slightest criticism of the government earns one a ban on Nairaland these days. Are we in George Orwell's 1984? |

I have been ban thrice today and I wasn't criticizing the government. The ban was legit though because I posted sensual pictures of the Ibom Air woman I discovered and NL quickly pulled it down. Another was because I derailed from the Topic. The third was because I was talking about Nnamdi Kanu. By and large Nairaland has really improved tremendously. Yes it has succeeded in finding ways in taming toxic people, trolls of reducing the excessess of people with negative content. |

DeepSight:The DSS has step up and are acting very professionally now. Unless you wan buy market. Just make sure that you have evidence to defend yourself when picked up for your allegations. Many social media platforms have been briefed about this important development and don't want to get into trouble.

Softmirror:Lol. Everyone's talking about the mammary region of this women. I am yet to see the video. Is it worth me searching for it? 😎 Your other point is correct also. I.e the bot is somewhat fair and has improved Nairaland making us more decorous. I thought it was unfair and prejudiced initially but I realised even removing some commonsensically offensive word makes the difference to been banned or not I was banned earlier for using Af..ja. I removed it after the ban was over and resent the same message with no problem. |

Softmirror:If a word is enough for the wise, maybe you shouldn't have made your first sentence before proving just how allergic some people are to facts. Resorting to DSS threats instead of accepting the truth says it all |

Softmirror:What do you mean? Was she 'marketing' items for short term or overnight hire? |
