Literally just seeing this. It's difficult finding African instances. I believe there was a South African instance at some point. But I will rather have a train jam me than be on a Southy instance

I know of holeyfox a Mastodon instance hosted by a nigerian and for nerdy nigerians

There's an instance for Nigerians but it's kinda dull and most people are weirdos one way or the other

A few hours ago. Threads/Mastodon, Pixelfed, Loops, Lemmy. That's where I get my infotainment from.

Nobi everybody dey do mainstream. I've not been on Facebook for like 7 years. I have an Instagram account with zero posts or comments. Twitter has been two years I went there. Tiktok is not my thing. So yeah, I'm "funny". Pretty much like I'm funny as I use Signal over WhatsApp.

I use pleroma a fork of mastodon as mastpdon is kinda restrictive

Lemmy is too marxist and i like being there

Good to know, though I get more ROI from Instagram (& Im not a young person).
