Without exaggerating, they received over 200 calls daily, with about 190 of them being financial requests from constituents. The remaining 10 were about political matters. Interestingly, I noticed that fulfilling these financial requests was more likely to secure a second, third, fourth, or fifth term than undertaking projects that would benefit the entire constituency.
