Royle2014:EXCELLENT! Press and hold down the enter button for about 3 or more seconds. It should enter the setting mode. Once it does , kindly let us know your findings |

It is likely back feeding to the grid. Try and switch off ALL your connection to NEPA while the inverter is on, and you should notice a drop immediately if what I am suspecting is the problem. Note : disconnect your house from Nepa and see Ofejiro20: |

Jefferyzz:This felicity chargers tell you max vdc is 130vdc, but they never say what's the max current it can handle. It only states charging current (80a in this case) but that's different from the max current into it's input (or maybe I'm wrong). I don't want to create strings of panels in parallel that will increase current and burn the charger. Hope my poor English is understandable |

Jefferyzz:wow same 80A with different VOC , they are not serious |

ask4bk:Baba I understand you , just stay within voc and recommended wattage on the side🤣, I think translation is a major problem for the Chinese, it's not that they don't have the specs |

durodee:Yes I've switched off all connections to Nepa but the inverter is still running on that heavy load and the humming sound. Meanwhile, I've connected a voltage monitor to checkmate if any of my neighbours has tapped from my inverter but the watts usage on the voltage monitor is very low cos I've few appliances running right now. So where is the inverter picking up this heavy load and humming sound from? |

Ofcourse he can put d 4 panels in 2s2p. Panels in parallel also means bigger cable. The person might b banking on using cheap cables. ask4bk: |

ask4bk:did they tell you the max power ? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 2:56pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
Jefferyzz:Often better having more voltage than current. Helps to minimize current losses along the way. If using cheaper cables, at least try use Original version of those cheap cables; by cheap, I mean the Aluminium cables |

SolomonGrundy:Have you gotten your issue solved? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by iraybuju: 3:13pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
Ofejiro20:You might be dealing with a processor card problem, or low reading transistors on the primary side |

After much thought, I have decided against getting a victron charge controller. Can I use a hybrid inverter as a charge controller? I need a 48v hybrid inverter with 3-5kw with robust communication options (RS485, ethernet)? Pls, I need help. Have a victron system, but don't want to be very tied to their ecosystem. Thanks in advance. |

You are a solar engineer and a hospital gives you this load capacity. 5910w. Note the high power equipment in that load. What materials do you suggest them to get for a good solar alternative power solution? Battery kwh, panel kwh, low/high freq inverter? External charge controller? Experts give ur suggestion.

Ofejiro20:Get a good electrician to check the wiring system of the inverter line entering the mainboard of the house. It could be wires of the inverter line are burnt , and this can cause a drag on the inverter. |

This ain't detailed enough for one to give a suggestion. Answers to the following question will give a clearer information to what the recommended setup could look like. Does the hospital plan to go completely offgrid? Will all the loads be powered at the same time? What are the critical loads and for how many hours would they be powered? How many hours of grid power is available? Would there be room for upgrade or addition of other appliances? By the way, what about the 3 fridges/freezers at 1500w each still giving a total of 1500w? ask4bk: |

ask4bk:500w for a fridge? Must be a massive fridge. |

I've decided to set aside my inverter cos I've repaired it 3 good times and it's not up to a week before it gets faulty again. I need an inverter recommendation for my load as follows... 1.5HP LG inverter AC.. 65 inch LG Smart TV (mainly for parlour) 45 inch Hiscene Smart TV...(Few hours inside room) 45 inch Hiscene Smart Tv (few hours inside room) Thermocool Table Refrigerator (10 hours daily ) 4 Fans (2 on 20 hours standby, rest 2 fans are not more than 6 hours daily) Blending machine (twice a week) Bread toaster (twice a week) Air Fryer (twice a week) Lightning points for 2 bedroom apartment.. Might possibly use electric oven in the future.. I've a 120 amps Felicity CC so I don't know if hybrid inverter will work. Also, should it be 24v or 48v system? Thanks bosses 🙏 |

ask4bk:U need to reaffirm the wattage of the fridges.. 500watt is too massive to be true |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 10:02pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
Ofejiro20:48v. You'll be fine with a 6kw hybrid from Growatt, Deye, or SRNE. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Edrizz(m): 10:06pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
Ofejiro20:You're good to go with a 8kw/10kw srne 48v hybrid inverter.... however, what's the capacity of ur battery |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Tdoctor(m): 11:10pm On Aug 15, 2025 |
Anyone selling a 60A SRNE charge controller here? |

Edrizz:I've 8 pieces of 220ah luminous batteries which has lasted 3 years. Meanwhile, is there any need for hybrid inverter as I already have a charge controller? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ofejiro20: 3:13am On Aug 16, 2025 |
HeavenlyBang:thanks boss but I already have a charge controller. Having an hybrid inverter would mean that my charge controller will no longer be useful |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 5:07am On Aug 16, 2025 |
Ofejiro20:You can use a hybrid inverter WITHOUT using its charge controller function. That is, if you are bent on not using it, maybe due to the PV reconfiguration required. |
