#ProveMeWrongChallenge The number one job of any government is simple: protect lives and property. If you can’t keep people safe, and you can’t make sure they can afford to eat, then all your “achievements” are just noise. You can burn N15 trillion on a Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, drown another ₦3 trillion inside the lagoon for “3rd Mainland Bridge underwater repairs,” cut ribbons like it’s a wedding ceremony, wear your agbada for photo ops, and spray big numbers on TV like confetti… …but to the man who can’t buy garri, the mother boiling empty water so her children can sleep on an empty stomach, or the student now forced to take loans just to attend a public school after you jacked tuition fees up by 100%–300%, those so-called “big wins” are nothing more than noise. And please don’t tell me the time is too short or that Tinubu “needs more time to deliver.” It didn’t take Umaru Yar’Adua more than six months to make a meaningful impact and ease life for ordinary Nigerians. As the Yoruba say, “Ìyán tí yóò dùn, lójú ni a ti máa rí i” — you can tell a good pounded yam from the first taste. If the signs are not there early, don’t expect magic later. Now, let’s be honest. From where I’m standing, the only people singing this government’s praises right now fall into four categories: The “Chop-Life” Crew: those eating directly from the government’s buffet table (you know them). The Laptop & Stipend Association: professional keyboard warriors and e-rodents paid to throw online insults like market women throw ground pepper. The Yoruba Ponu Confederation; aka the Idi Beberere gang: professional defenders of the indefensible. The Hypnotized & Bewitched Society: people whose sense of reasoning has been spiritually padlocked and the key thrown inside the Atlantic Ocean. I could be wrong… but it’s starting to look like I’m 100% right. So here’s my challenge, #ProveMeWrongChallenge: If you’re still supporting this government, tell me just ONE thing Tinubu’s administration has done that has genuinely, measurably with empirical evidence and undeniably made your life better. Not what they promised. Not the staged drama they parade on TV, like those infamous fake bishops during the campaign. Not some distant “in the future” benefit. But what you have actually felt in your pocket, your stomach, or your safety: Can you truly send your children to school without loans? Can you afford 3 square meals daily from your salary without borrowing? Can you build a house without drowning in credit? Can you travel state to state with peace of mind? Has your electricity genuinely improved in terms of generated megawatts, beyond the seasonal “body language” hype? Can you farm with confidence? Can you buy even a tokunbo car from your salary without a loan? In short, can you honestly afford or achieve anything from your income today without borrowing, begging, or breaking the law? If you can prove it, I’ll take back my words. If you can’t, then maybe… just maybe… you’re one of the four above. I’ll just sit back and watch as the Yoruba Ponu Confederation and the Laptop & Tablet Warriors skip the question entirely and dive straight into insults because mentioning a single thing they’ve actually gained is harder than finding snow in Lagos. Grab your popcorn, folks, it’s about to go down… the comment section theatre is about to begin. |

ibabz:😂 Is that why Peter Obi cannot live in Anambra but Lagos because of safety?! |

Softmirror:Exactly! You’re right again! You must be a genius. Because the President is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. That’s why Tinubu once criticized Jonathan, saying that the responsibility, or as he put it, the “buck” must stop at the president’s desk. |
