Unfortunately there's only two episodes out.

If you enjoyed Alien Romulus- the 2024 movie, you're going to love Alien Earth.

I think Alien Earth is much better.

I rate it 8/10 so far

Too early to judge how good it’ll be… no one has the patience to follow shows weekly anymore when there’s a lot to see, i’ll check it out once it’s out completely

Just rewatched season 1 with a little fast forward and it was bang average, it felt like watching something I have seen executed the same way several times over.

Binge watching years after release can never measure up to the "you have to be there next week" thrill.

I am presently watching Better Call Saul Season 6 so I know one or two things about what I am talking about.

Chris Sheridan is a director who truly knows his onion, and more importantly, knows when to step away. As much as I wanted the show to continue, stretching it further would likely have made it lose the charm, wit, and freshness that made the show so special. It ended just where it should, funny, heartfelt, and unforgettable.

Yes you’re correct but a bad show is a bad show my brother …

Merlin was a hot stuff during it’s run but even it’s diehard fans of then rewatching the show now will confirm it’s just p0o with bad acting…

Compare that with a show like OZ released in 1997 or Sopranos still holds it’s ground firmly today, so a bad show is a bad show irrespective of it’s popularity back in the days

If I know say e go dey GOATED like this, I for just download all 3 seasons. I don download am since last year, e just dey sleep for my hard drive.

As I need scratch my erotic itch, na so I remember say this gem dey wait.

that black thicc girl did numbers on my head but overall the show is truly an underrated Gem asides the nudity/sex

Funny how I absolutely agree with you judging from my review and criticism of From Dusk Till Dawn and how its fans came for my head.....

On a serious note, it was the greatest supernatural show of that era but in hindsight I probably would have the same views as you, if I watched it now as some of it's themes and acting might be deemed subpar to me now due to exposure to higher quality fare and difference in the times.

I doubt if you can watch full 90 mins replay of a football match without getting bored (assuming you have been provided with info about the final score) but those who watched the match in real time would have had no issues with the same 90 mins even stretching into 120 mins including extra time.

The utility derived from a TV series in its present run time is vastly different from what is obtainable when you get to watch it years after it was concluded.

The Originals, which someone posted about pages back, none of us watched it for the action at the period it was airing, we were looking ahead to the next episode to know how the dynamics between the different characters will play out, how the Mikealson family will crack whatever obstacles they were facing at that point in time.

Such feeling gets diluted when you binge watch and applicable to majority of "old" shows.

I swear you get the gist. It's mainly the nudity and sex I came for and I thought by season 2 I'd get bored, but HBO came cooking.
The comedy is also top notch, and excellent writing while still centering on dark, gritty tales and deep topics.
The sarcasm and satire is just wild I was straight up laughing wildly at night.

You remember "Mouth of Death" scene. Wey person collect BJ finish go heaven. As he dey come e dey go. 😅😅

I downloaded the first 2 episodes, I dey dose off I can't remember which episode I stopped but it had a nice premise and interesting story.
