That is because Yoruba dominate the three axis of USA, UK, and Canada. Those are the largest remittance base.

The falling Naira effect.Well,help your Loved ones.It is our customs and values to help our folks.Don't follow the individualistic nature of the west.We have a little or no social net so a widow's mite might help along way.Nothing is small over here but don't allow anyone take you for granted or become entitled to your money.

You seriously think I have the time for your puerile questions. Sending money to your home country doesn't necessarily mean it is because the recipient country has a bad economy as you naively said.

Diaspora remittances is mostly to help struggling families
Increase shows how much Nigerians are having it though at home
During pdp years, Diaspora hardly exceeded $10bn and most was good investments

Ofcourse, Tinubu is already thinking of how dip his greedy hands into their pockets in the guise of Taxes and levies, after chasing them out of the country due to bad policies.

What of if all the nigeria abroad open 🤔 single account and select one leader. donate 100 dollar each and build a standard hospital for each state. Maybe even fix many things since our government refused to do needful. Any money enter the account must to be transparency for every nigeria to see. like stock exchange every evening.
