HE WAS VOTED OUT DUE TO POOR PERFORMANCE AND LACK OF AUTHORITY......

CORRUPTION WAS THE ORDER OF THE DAY ................

I’ve been one of the biggest GEJ apologists since his ouster from power in 2015.

But if he fails to see the game they are trying to use him to play and falls for it, then I will agree with Baba Obasanjo that he’s truly “clueless”.

How does one leave the status of statesmanship and the global phenomenon that he has become to start running around for campaign?

What if he loses? Do you know what that will do to his brand?

In 2027, the north would have to choose between Obi’s presidency and Tinubu’s continuity.

The ball is in their court.
Oga, it'll do nothing to his brand. Atiku has been losing since inception of democracy, and it has even increased his base. Life is all trials. If he contests, it's because he's fed up with how Nigerians are suffering and the people in power are siphoning their funds and wants to turn Nigeria to one party state where their decision is final.

Think, olodo!

Remove Obi because as far as the North are concern Obi does not exist in the North. Why do you think they are courting Jonathan. If Jonathan knows that the coast is clear then nothing can stop him from winning. So he need to have assurance that Atiku will sit aside. It's high time you guess stopped thinking that Obi will be allowed to win 2027 election. He has only one base right now, which is South East. Those numbers he had in the last election he won't have them this time.
What will happen to those numbers?

Whose base is South South?

And who will win the Christian North?

You think the governors in South South are decamping to APC to go and play Ping pong. APC wants to use the whole of the Southern votes apart from the Eastern votes for consolidation. Those numbers does not exist anymore. To make matter worst many people aren't even voting.
As long as Obi, Atiku are in the ballot please tell me what will change this time.

As at today Peter Obi is the confidence stake .. he can win independent candidate or even in APC.. the fellowship is rooted , unpaid, religious, optimistic, ... Almost an idealogy movement. Jonathan is already seen as week or elite power grabbers tool. Tinubu can win Jonathan
Re: Jonathan’s Entry Would Radically Shake The 2027 Election by AlwaysPositive: 6:02pm On Aug 16, 2025
Leave plenty talk.
If you do a free, fair and credible election, Peter Obi will win the election before 12pm on election day.

Atiku will come second

Good luck third

Nigerians do not want to hear Anything TINUBU or APC again.

You can walk around and do your own survey.

Your assertion that president Tinubu leadership has left a bitter taste in the mouth of northern poltical power brokers is either self delusional or a hypocrisy on your part seeking to divert attention from the reality on ground, which is PBAT is a bad leader with no clue on how Nigeria should thrive prosperously

I have said it before and I'm saying it again, GEJ's entry into the 2027 ballot means the end of Tinubu's reign as president. You can take that to the bank.

One thing for sure is that Jonathan cannot win. He can alter the dynamics but he cannot win.

I think he knows that too which is why he has said to those urging him to run to bring back Atiku and Obi to PDP first. I guess he clearly knows he can’t win with PDP as it is and is therefore unlikely to run.
In a four horse race : Tinubu, Obi, Atiku and GEJ, Atiku holds the aces. Jonathan knows that, that's why he's insisting that Atiku and Obi step aside for him. If Tinubu must go it has to be Tinubu vs Atiku/Obi or Tinubu vs GEJ/Kwankwaso.

It’s not a 4 horse race. If Jonathan is not joining unless Atiku and Obi join then Jonathan is not in the race.

Jonathan will win Tinubu with a landslide before 12 noon on the election day.
I don't doubt if either Jonathan nor obi can win Tinubu. The main issue is will Tinubu acknowledge that win? Will he conceed? Will he allow fair play?

obi is out of the equation. Northerners expecially the core north will never support Obi a known tribal and religious bigot to be president.

In Trump’s case, America didn’t have an alternative to Trump. It just had to be Trump.

But is that the case with Nigeria now?

Is GEJ the only person that can get the job done?

GEJ vs Tinubu, how??
Tinubu is the jagaban of Nigeria politics. Why are you nervous?

This submission makes all the sense available. The North can't always eat their cake and still have it. Their cup is full, it's pay back time. It's either Tinubu continues or Obi comes in. Most likely I believe Tinubu will continue and completely or significantly undo all their strangle hold in vital sectors of the economy. This will force the North to look inwards and come up with vital self discovery for survival thats unique to them outside power play all the time that's done nothing for the common man. It's a great time to be alive in Nigeria to see real change loading.

Completely right!

I had this argument with some guy on Twitter who was trying to preach to me on how Obi should accept to be Atiku’s running mate in 2027 so that ‘Igbos can get into the corridors of power’.

I told him one thing, the north keeps playing that game with us and it’s time we stopped them from using us. And this is not even any southern solidarity nonsense, it’s the fact that the north needs to be taught that they are not the only ones who know how to play the power game.

So, in 2027, if they are tired of Tinubu, let them support Obi and Obi alone as the alternative.

If they are not ready, then let Tinubu finish his 8 years. And just like you have said, I trust Tinubu and Wike to break every stranglehold they have anywhere when they return for second term.

We won’t be the worst off.

Politics is not emotions.

Worst is, the North will get back to power in 2031.

But if Obi refuses to Deputize Atiku and Tinubu wins, can you guess when an Igbo Man will be anywhere around the Presidency? Not in the Next 32 Years Minimum.

If the SE like, let them fall for the South West Propaganda of Obi Presidency or Nothing.

Same SW deputized under Buhari, today they occupy the Number 1 Seat.

Bottom line is, if Obi doesn't get to Aso Villa as President or Vice in 2027, the Igbo Presidency Agenda is Dead and Buried.

Shove the “Igbo presidency” balderdash in your behind.

Do we look like we care?

We’ve not been president nor vice for nearly 50 years and we are still the richest tribe in Nigeria and will continue to be. So, you don’t threaten us with that rubbish.

You lots can queue up and vote for Tinubu in 2027. And when he’s done, let him handover to the north with another Yoruba as Vice President. And when they are done, let another Yoruba become president.

And through that circle, the north will still be the most backward region in Nigeria playing catch up to the Southeast.

So, tell your people to keep the presidency for a 100 years.

And goodluck with that.
