dollarnaira:I understand d angle u looking at it from bro, but my take is that d project is doable provided the installer/engineer prioritise quality components and a top-notch installation and then go into details with the client, letting him to know that energy generation might drop during d raining season but a good value for money during the dry season. |

bassdow:Is the 40A capable of charging a 48V system? The SRNE 40A chargers I know are unable to charge a 48v system; they max out at 24V? How much is the person with the new one selling (for 48V system)? Almost all goods come from Lagos, so distance shouldn't be a problem. |

bassdow:Used is fine, if it is for 48V battery. |

bassdow:Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. I truly appreciate your guidance, and I’ll definitely go for the one with the lithium settings. |

bassdow:u can literally get away with panels and inverter.. d real koko na battery backup. if na me de this shoe.. na to let client know say na continuous upgrade till de become self sufficient... esp on battery.....make una draft out plan.. a 100kwh battery ![]() |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by brightk(m): 7:27pm On Aug 16, 2025 |
ask4bk:reason with the client.... this setup will cost a lot... like i said its easier to get inverters and panels.. if money b d problem make una start small... not all loads will be on the inverter for now.... u can do 6kw*2 or 8kw x2..... and enough panels as u can afford. Start with 1 or 2 battery packs.. let him know its a continuous project.. if he is really serious.. he can be self sufficient in 2yrs.. draw out a comprehensive plan and spread it such that in 2yrs he can be able to do 70% of it if not 80%.. u can make comparison btw deye, growatt, alpsolar and solis... try and choose an inverter with large mppt power... like i said go to the location, do your own analysis and draw out your plan. if e nor reason with u my broda make u clear fast fast |

Edrizz:issue be say, most times, this kinda work no be direct hence at end of the day, they spend huge but a lot ain't on the project it's self and the middle people would prioritize GAINs over quality hence if you quote any how, they get you replaced the moment they're unable to get a lower quote (which they would later inflate) from you. They make the GAINs, while you bear the burden |

Tdoctor:This 40amps in particular doesn't. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dollarnaira(m): 7:57pm On Aug 16, 2025 |
Edrizz:The problem is that hospitals don't know seasons-- patients can't be predicted and number of appliances cannot be rationed especially during emergencies. Personally, this project is not feasible(my opinion though). |

bassdow:Do you have any 48V charge controller that has good communication (RS485) e.g. SRNE or DEYE clones? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 8:10pm On Aug 16, 2025 |
Tdoctor:if brand new, can always get from where I buy from. As for used, it's based on availability. Someone in here has got epEver 60amps though I don't know if it supports Lithium battery. Most old version epEvers don't have such support except the newer versions. As for the RS485, most of them have got it. Hopefully the person who's got epEver in here can signify. Make I never mention name since e dey online already |

Tdoctor:Bottom line is, if you need NEW, I could help you arrange that BUT for Used, I would have to source for it. |

ask4bk:Yes HF inverter.. There are several types in the market. There are PSW and MSW. You can check out for brands like Easun, Talakalata ( not sure of the spelling), sutu etc |

dollarnaira:If I were to be d engineer, I would suggest to the hospital management that we should split the system into 2 groups, 5kwHF inverter to cater for the fan, computer and bulbs and massively overpanel the set up since most operations would be during the day n lesser activities at night n with 20-25kwh battery should be fine while the 2nd installation that would cater for scan, fridge and lab would be a 6kw transformer-based inverter cos of the huge surge and moderately oversize the panel too, the battery size would depend on whether fridges, scanning machine n lab activities would run 24/7 or just during the day only |

Dam5reey:Lmao, probably the most impressive battery you've tested. Funny that some people were bad mouthing it here a while ago. |

Good evening y’all Please I need opinion about this inverter, I know it’s a non hybrid but I’d like to know if it make sense to buy or it’s a no go area. And also any idea about its idle power consumption and repairability?

HeavenlyBang:People need to be wary of these reviews. It is important to know how the "samples" were sourced. The reviewers also need to declare any conflicts of interest like free samples, paid reviews and commercial partnership with marketers and companies. Even big companies like Samsung have been known to game the review systems by supplying reviewers with "supercharged" samples. For example, I think Samsung once had a hidden code that detects benchmarking software and then ramp up CPU and GPU to achieve scores that are not achievable in normal use. It is not impossible for battery makers/marketers to supply top-grade batteries for reviewers and park their commercial stocks with low performing components. The best REVIEWS are what users on the field say about the batteries and other components. |

adrusa:Pretty weird thing to say without having as much as a hint of that actually being the case. Almost reads like an accusation. Could you be right? Yes. But asking people to be wary simply because of a broad possibility doesn't sit right with me. I do agree that Dam5reey1 should state if review units are provided by OEM, though. |
