Abeg who the minister of petroleum again? Who appointed Bayo Ojulari as GMD NNPCL again. Your answers tells you who is behind the failures of this moribund refineries. He promised and commissioned phantom working PH refinery despite all the sensational media hype. God save this nation. Nigeria is irredeemable especially the NNPCL. |

The way this APC's government hurriedly dashed out money for the rehabilitation of the three refineries and the way they kept claiming all three refineries were working with fake pictures called for questioning. Our leaders have no conscience at all ![]() |

So after decades of looting, they’re suddenly “recovering” pocket change from the billions stolen like we should applaud them. Refineries are still comatose, fuel still imported, but EFCC is proudly counting scraps. Same old cycle: steal big, return small, walk free. |

Racoon:“ God save this nation. Nigeria is irredeemable especially the NNPCL.” In the same sentence. Is that not insanity? |

So any body wey dey yarn dust say e go better for this joke of a country, should better hang around till when Anti-Christ don take over government. And even by then the only betterment na say if you steal na instant judgement for you. So no better for Nigeria at all for ever. |

10 million Dollars ? The EFCC is not serious , the total amount stolen from the refinery fraud should be upwards of 1.9 billion dollars |

If I stole $100, and you recover, $2, then you have actually tried. I will have time to enjoy the remaining $90 after I have spent $8 to keep myself out of wahala. Corruption is killing Nigeria gradually. |

Mjshexy:The Government did not dash out money but allowed them to raise money to do the rehabilitation. It is called round-tripping. You borrow it and return it to the lender. The money simply changes ownership without leaving its abode. It has been going on for decades, but has been increasing in size over the years. But wait, I did not read any name here! Why? |

19 billion dollars. Yes, that's the amount Buhari spent on rehabilitating still non functional refineries. Dangote used 22 billion dollars to build the biggest refinery in Africa. So you get an idea of the kind of stealing that the NNPC under Buhari did. Where else in the world will people steal this kind of money and be walking around freely? Don't just take my word for it, here is a Thisday report on it. https://www.thisdaylive.com/2023/06/09/sule-buhari-spent-over-19bn-on-fixing-refineries-in-eight-years-without-results/ This matter is beyond what EFCC can handle as they don't have the staff with the depth of competence and knowledge regarding the petroleum industry to fully scrutinize this particular kind of fraud. |

Racoon:Honestly when some of you typed? One is forced to check and re-check if it's not a brainless robot that is typing. Common sense should tell you that those are money awarded before Ojulari became GMD, but hatred won't let u reason objectively. Not that anybody cares about una pain l, because long may it continue. EFCC is doing a darn fine job. |

What about our leaders, past and present. Is it a law that you can't question them efcc? All I see is either eye service or busy bodies. Everyone knows who the real thieves are, but EFCC is not going after them. Anyway, let them continue catching the small thieves. But this country will collapse if all these stealing doesn't stop. |

Why not recover and prosecute the thief. This EFCC chairman is a coward that only comes online to praise his little work. You could not mention names of those people that looted the money and we all say we have one yeye president that also stand as the minister for petroleum. None of the 3 refineries is working till date and the so called minister of petroleum is less concerned about this. |

Why are some Nigerians so greedy and always want to cut corners in order to have it all to themselves? Why would some disgruntled demons in human flesh siphon money meant for public use just for their insatiable personal greed? This is wickedness in highest order. May God NEVER forgive these people but MUST be made to face the consequences of their actions on earth before going back to hell where they came from. Enough of this. |

Govt. of deceit, you have recovered such amount of money but you cannot mention the govt. officials and contractors involved. You continue running round the matter. You people released the money, stole it and recovered it. Same you! |

NNPC has always been a cesspit of corruption and fraud. The FG govt should have long flush out all the staff and shut down that fraudulent institution. |

I have already said it before these government refineries should be sold or given out to the private sector, private oil operators, entrepreneurs there are the ones good in operating and running businesses and refineries not the government the role of government is to provide a conducive environment for businesses refineries to thrive not to operate and run refineries, see dangote refinery a private oil operator entrepreneur his refinery is still running effectively without any issues and breakdown..the federal government, NNPC, government officials are just using this government refineries to loot , embezzle money and enrich themselves..it's a pity |
