Anambra state is not a swing state .Their voting pattern is predictable. They will never go far from APGA. Few will vote other parties but majority will vote APGA. APGA is entrenched in Anambra state.The present governor Soludo contested on PDP platform and failed woefully, he had to decamp to APGA before he can sniff the office of the governor in Anambra. That's how strobg APGA is in that state..
If APGA does well it's not because of soludo but the immovable grassroot political strength of the party.

Obi and his party LP has no candidates in the election. He only supported the ADC candidates at the dying minute and some people in the village are not even aware of his support.

Anambra state has a partner of voting. The state is entirely different from other states. It will be very hard to win election with APC or PDP except you have been popular, tested and trusted.

Most of the candidates contesting for the senatorial election are not popular including the ADC candidate but APGA has a better chance being the party on ground, accepted to an extent by the indigenes and has more buying power.

Before you come and rant about Peter Obi this, Peter Obi that. Know that Anambra state is home for APGA. It will be very difficult for another political party to win that state except rigging. But when it comes to Presidential election which no one from the state is contesting, Anambrarians will vote for Peter Obi instead of Terrorists APC party.

Peter Obi was given the title "The ROCK Of IGBOS" by APGA after defecting and chasing away god fathers who used PDP to dry Anambra State funds....

You read where the OP referenced him, he formed APGA and up till today, APGA remains the giant in Anambra State, even no federal might can take over Anambra State from APGA....

Peter Obi single handedly brought in Willie Obiano who was not known by any APGA member to become Governor of Anambra State and he was respected for such but Obiano couldn't do much or emulate his works ...
