LDEA Margibi County Detachment Arrests 48-Year-Old Nigerian for Narcotics Possession

Monrovia, Liberia - August 14, 2025

At approximately 1:00 PM, officers of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) – Margibi County Detachment – acted on a credible tip-off and apprehended a Nigerian national in possession of illegal narcotics.

The suspect, identified as Chikwado Dodo Ajuziem, age 48, was intercepted in the Schiefflin Town community while operating a white Toyota Camry, bearing plate number A348.

Upon a thorough search of the vehicle, officers discovered a white powdered substance suspected to be cocaine. The substance was field-tested and later confirmed to be 11 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of US$594 or equivalent to LRD 112,860.

Following the investigation, Mr. Ajuziem was formally charged and subsequently transferred to the RIA Magisterial Court for prosecution. He faces charges related to illegal possession of narcotics, a violation of Liberian drug laws, as well as possession of a vehicle used in the commission of a drug offence.

The LDEA reiterates its commitment to combating drug trafficking and substance abuse in all parts of Liberia and encourages the public to continue providing timely information to support law enforcement efforts.

There's an saying that "Every hustle na hustle". This used to be prominent among Igbos but now it is prominent among major tribes of Nigeria. Expect more non-Igbos to be doing drugs. The whole Nigerian race is getting very desperate.
