My own curiosity is, the same Anambra people irrespective of the region voted for Peter Obi enmass in 2023.

This same Peter Obi campaigned for the ADC candidate contesting the election in Anambra state but loss badly.

Isn't it obvious that the massive votes Peter Obi received in Anambra state in 2023 was a tribal votes.

So what's your point? Tinubu lost Lagos, but Sanwo-olu won the gubernatorial in Lagos. This was replicated in many other states with APC governors. This goes to show that local elections are a different ball-game from presidential elections. The stakes are also much higher. It's good for optics but only naïve people will use this by-election as a testament of what is to come in 2027.

APC put up a better show in Oyo, than LP/ADC did in Anambra State. Conclusively, we can say Tinubu has better chances of winning in Oyo, than Obi winning in Anambra

I'll stop reading your analysis going forward. It obvious you don't even know the reality of of things in the North. I used to think you're speaking like one who sees things firsthand and can speak for the majority over there

This was how it happened in Kaduna yesterday. The security agents and electoral officials were right in the middle of it. You simply vote and collect your money. Like I say, impoverishment is an election winning strategy that APC will be hoping to capitalise on but the stakes will be different in 2027. Reason being that all the contestants are well known to the few electorates that turned up and enthusiasm was lacking as is always the case in all by-elections.
