In the first clip, one Fulani man issued what he called a “warm warning” to Nigerian journalists. He accused TV stations, radio houses, and newspapers of unfairly branding criminals as Fulani bandits. According to him, criminals should be called criminals, not linked to Fulani identity. He stressed that no other ethnic group in Nigeria is labelled this way, only the Fulani, and he warned that this must stop immediately. He even urged Fulani governors, traditional leaders, and emirs to step in and make sure the Fulani name is no longer attached to banditry.

But that was only the beginning.

In another viral video, this time from a different Fulani man, the anger was turned directly towards the Igbo people. His words were bold, fiery, and extremely controversial. He declared that Fulani people are Africans, and whether anyone likes it or not, they will continue to live in Africa. Then he went further, blasting the Igbos directly, saying: “Why are you hating us? You Igbos don’t have history, that’s why I don’t respond to you.”

Guys, that statement alone has ignited outrage and heavy debate across social media. Nigerians everywhere are asking what these comments really mean for unity, and why such strong words were used.

The "lack history" part by that Fulani guy is true. It is an open truth (not secret). Why should those people be triggered? Whereas you can list many precolonial era historical Yoruba and Fulani heroes/figures, the only precolonial hero they have is a fictitious Okonkwo in Things Fall Apart.

They are confused because they don’t know how to progress inspite of all the opportunities they have but igbo continues thriving against all odds…they are just frustrated. Relics from Igbo civilization dug out from Igbo ukwu in 1958 of which Prof Thurstan Shaw did radio carbon dating and the date as around 7th century AD, same time Muhammadu started Islam in Saudi Arabia.Those Original Igboukwu radio carbon dated artifacts are still there in London museum where the whole world see it but Oduduwa story is never documented historically anywhere in the world except folklore stories similar to that of tortoise and hen have been writing. Infact the oldest Yoruba artifacts on record are the ile ife bronze heads which are not even up to 400 years and they are even predated by the Benin ogiso dynasty that started before 10th century AD…infact people from west do not have any historical data of their origin except folklores
