When a lady makes all the excuses for you despite being in the wrong. It points to something. Especially for someone as tough as Dede.

Look at how she reacted to Jason. Since morning, she has refused to talk to Mide because she feels offended. That's how a friend reacts to another friend who's wronged you or lied to you.

In Male - Female Dynamic most especially, one person always like the other more and makes the most effort. For someone as self-absorbed as she is, I kinda wonder why she's doing more

Well on one hand it could be that she doesn't really rate him at all probably why she has not reacted angrily. On the other hand it could be that she really really likes him so she is making excuses for him and forgiving all his trespasses.

What I really think however is that she is in a difficult situation and she knows she can not afford to lose any more friends in that house, so as not to become isolated. Since Jason left and now it feels like mide is drawing away, notice she is becoming more overly protective and territorial of her few remaining friends, Koyin and Kola. True friends are a scarce commodity in that house, she probably can not avoid to lose Koyin, after losing Jason and increasingly perhaps even Mide. I think she is going to lean in more with Koyin (not in a romantic way of course, that is effectively ruled out now) and Kola, while hoping that Jason comes around so that she can quickly forgive him.

Dede seems to be more with Joanna recently!

She was rude to Mide earlier today. They had a spat and Mide has kept her distance since.
May that distance be permanent, make we rest.

In all this let’s not forget ebuka exposed her 3 fishes matter so that put her on the defensive, if there was no 3 fish matter and she heard what Koyin did, trust me she would react differently.

Her over happiness is masking something, she also relieved that Koyin also did something that she can use to hold to the relationship, if Dede didn’t like Koyin she would use this an opportunity to shenk him.
