Seye Ogunlewe 🇳🇬 ran a Season's Best (SB) of 10.10s (0.7) to win the men's 100m final at the Stratford Grand Prix!

He beat Bori Akinola 🇮🇪 who ran a new PB of 10.20s and Ade Adewale 🇬🇧 in 3rd with 10.21s. Richard Akinyebo 🇬🇧 was further down in 4th with 10.26s.

They prefer to run in United Kingdom than to run in Nigeria under tinubu .

I'm beginning to understand why Kemi Badenoch hates Nigeria under tinubu so much.

But wait a second, have they confirmed to you that they are Nigerians? Because Kemi Badenoch has told everyone that she's more of a British than Nigerian.

Wow. Nigerians be always representing all over the world.

No wonder an Instagram post massively trended recently that Nigerians, Jamaicans, and Black Americans were the world most influential black nations.

They dominate the sport, music, and movie industries.

Four YORUBA men you mean?

They are NOT Nigerians.

You can see the flags of their respective Nations (including the one representing Nigeria).

YOU CAN BE YORUBA AND NOT BE A NIGERIAN.

I AM YORUBA; NOT NIGERIAN.

Do you mean that 75% of the four are making money primarily for racist, neocolonial oyinbo japa countries?

What a revelation.

TheBedWench:
The one-drop rule is a social and legal principle of racial classification that was historically prominent in the United States in the 20th century. It asserted that any person with even one ancestor of black ancestry ("one drop" of black blood)[1][2] is considered black (Negro or colored in historical terms).

This concept became codified into the law of some states in the early 20th century. It was associated with the principle of "invisible blackness" that developed after the long history of racial interaction in the South, which had included the hardening of slavery as a racial caste and later segregation. It is an example of hypodescent, the automatic assignment of children of a mixed union between different socioeconomic or ethnic groups to the group with the lower status, regardless of proportion of ancestry in different groups.[3]

The one-drop rule is defunct in law in the United States and was never codified into federal law.

It's quite impressive. And it's also funny. My question, however, is, will the organizers turn a blind eye to this development?

He is right Sha. There are Yorubas native to benin republic just as there are hausas native to Niger Republic 🇧🇯 .
Some of those sprinters could actually be from Porto Novo (Ajase) in Benin Republic 🇧🇯. We cant just assume anybody with an Hausa or a Yoruba name is Nigerian grin

you are right, what many don't know is this. the only way she can gain popularity and prominence is to be strategic. this means backlashing the most populous black nation remains her best shot.

been a Nigerian gives her the edge in this situation meaning she has truly switched allegiance. she is intentional with what she is doing, not because she hate Nigeria or Nigerians that much but to win the hearts of the the britons.

LagosOrigin:
So a Russian or American will denigrate her motherland country because she wants to be relevant to her host country abi?

Kemi don't like Nigeria , she made it clear
who amongst us genuinely love this country? those that didn't travel out of the country are doing worse than she's doing. those milking the nation, amassing unnecessary wealth are worse than kemi.

read through my comment it is clear I am saying she's being driven by greed like every other Nigerian. not because she genuinely love her host country or country of origin. let the tide change today (we end up with a better Nigeria), this same kemi will eulogize Nigeria.

it isn't about the love or hate but what she is out to achieve from this whole drama she is making. the best way she can warm the heart of the citizens of country of allegiance is cast the first missile against her country of origin, that is my drift here just the selfish ambition.

Congratulations to the four of them. But I am sorry to say this. The timing of their runs can't take them anywhere be it in diamond Grand Prix, golden league or Olympics when the Jamaican and USA guys comes out.
None even ran under .9

I was hopeful that and expect the Sports ministry, Athletics Federation of Nigeria and the Nigeria Olympic Committee won’t frustrate them after this with the way they frustrated Favour Ofili by preventing her from participating in future competitions and later blamed her for being too difficult. Not until I realized that they are representing different countries. shocked
