Nigerians are never ready to support one another. Everything starts from the little things we refuse to do for one another even when we are in position to help. Some of this rubbish clauses clubs include in players contracts are ILLEGAL. It is about time some of these silly contracts are challenged in court including the court of arbitration for sports. If a player feels he is not being treated fairly, then he has a right to disagree. No club has the right to force a player to a club or country he does not wish to go to. Even if such clauses are included in his contracts, once they go against a person's fundermental human rights, those nonsense clauses are ILLEGAL. SIMPLE. Atalanta MUST release him wether they like it or not. What Inter Milan has offered is fair enough, all things considered.

FIrst of all mobility of labour is a right. It is patently illegal to tell a staff they can't leave because your project is "critical" whatever that nonsense means. If the environment is good enough, no one will leave. Labour is dynamic. That is a fundamental aspect of labour law
Secondly, from all available information, in the case of Lookman, the agreement is that any bid from any big club must be considered. Atalanta is refusing to consider because it is an African player involved. You think if it was an Italian or European, they will do this nonsense?

Is Gyokeres not in Arsenal now?
I don't know how you evaluate players but am African player at age 28 can't be worth more than 50m. Osimhen who is much younger was sold for €75m so how can you expect Lookman who is at the top of his career agewise to command equal price with Osimhen? More so he has just two years left on his contract. How much is he being paid presently? Are you saying he earns €20m a year?

players are not responsible for the development of local leagues, that responsibility lies on the NFF and the government/ministry of sports.
