This man knows how to get things done. It's high time we concentrate on Governors for once. They have enough resources at their disposal to deliver lasting change in their respective states.

I disagree with that part, any Governor that cannot deliver atleast 85% in his state, must be whisked away in EFCC's waiting van immediately after handing over.

Until there's full resource control by states as its supposed to be in a federating system, the development of this country will be stagnated.

Every achievement recorded will be at a snail spead.

I genuinely feel for the people of Ogun State in all of this. Despite the substantial revenue and allocations the state receives, the level of development remains disappointingly low. Most inner roads are in terrible condition, and there seems to be little to no attention given to areas outside the capital. It’s a troubling situation.

Take a trip to places like Mowe, Ifo, Ibafo, Arigbawonwo, Ofada, and Erimerunmu — there’s hardly any visible impact from either the state or local governments. In fact, the presence of local governance is practically nonexistent.

Living in Ogun State really puts into perspective the kind of development Lagos State has achieved. One can only hope that the next administration in Ogun will adopt a governance model similar to Lagos, with a long-term development plan that successive governments can follow and build upon

FG is responsible for such. Did you guys even study government in school ?

This new strategy of squeezing money out of the struggling citizens via taxation and empowering state governors who have immunity is bound to fail. When the people complain, they simply mouth off "hold your governor accountable". Same governors who will be forgiven of all sins and embezzled funds as long as they decamp or are aligned with the party in power? Isn’t this what some sceptics against the subsidy removal have always feared will happen?

The federal govt are not doing this because of the poor masses , they are doing all of this because of 2027 , they want endorsements from the state govt.. if this is really for the people , first you will ask states what they use the previous money for ..

The minimum they should build is bus station. Some governor in the past collected allocation and stacked it in Pandora account, keep some in Fidelity bank where he has interest and keep the remaining in his warehouse
