Fubara has learned his lesson. He should be ever grateful to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who plotted a counter coup against Wike's plot to legally impeachment him as governor. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown great diplomatic leadership qualities in solving political crisis. He solved the Obasa draggings too in a very mature way. May Almighty God continue to bless President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Amen.

Softmirror:Fubara should know now that the head.less mob don't like him. They are only supporting whoever they feel is Tinubu's enemy. Now they abandoned him after he was suspended. Meanwhile, why has obi stopped building boreholes in the north after he lost elections in 2023 ![]() |

Softmirror:someone in the west will be analyzing politics in my state. Fubara was winning the fight 100% until Tinubu rescued Wike’s ass. The impeachment was impossible. Do you think the fight is over?? Stay tuned. |

Tinubu should dash him another 6 months for good measure . Ball-less, no pedigree governor . Product of a godfather . Count down to humiliating reinstatement. I am sure the mumu will do celebration and thanksgiving . If he likes he can start biting the godfather’s hands again. Nonsense . |
| Re: Fubara Eyes Sept 18 Comeback As Ibas Pushes Projects Completion by blaise26abj(m): 1:55pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
blackgold2018:What fight was he winning? He overestimated his strength and went after a much stronger godfather not a weakened one . He felt he had local support without taking into account federal might and the importance of Rivers to the president’s reelection calculations . A weakened Wike ( one without position and definitely without Tinubu’s support )would have been much easier to defeat . He miscalculated and lost . |

Softmirror:In 2027, the people of rivers will also reciprocate the "good gesture" back to Tinubu with their votes. It will be loud, resounding and clear. |

Six months to be extended as wicked Wike pleases and supported. If Tinubu get 2nd term, all opposition governors will be removed. ![]() |

blaise26abj:nothing like miscalculation. He wasn’t strong enough. Obaseki fought oshomole with federal might and won, even Tinubu himself fought obasanjo too. But I don’t think Fubara is completely weak. It’s just indirectly still being grateful to Wike, and respect for president. Because if it’s a ex governor like Ngige, he will win the fight. Federal government has never won fight against Niger deltan militants. It’s all dialogue |

blackgold2018:You are comparing political fights with militancy. Do you expect a government to turn barrel of guns against citizens who are protesting environmental degradation of their state? Do you think if it was a non oil producing state Tinubu would act immediately? As per fighting the FG, it all depends on who the president is. Obasanjo removed Governors and senate Presidents at will. Fubara should thread softly because Rivers is very important to the feds. Rivers is not ekiti oh |

Alot of the good strides by him have been destroyed by the ibas man. Refuse heaps all over the place wont be surprised if an epidemic breaks out, even the state health insurance scheme is not as effective as it once was. Public services are down. Hope they will allow him to function and make the necessary changes an independent governor needs to move the state forward. |
