This new alaafin should melow down,you are new and a lot of controversies since he is crowned the gra gra is too much, some body older in age was there before now and there was no issue,he should be advised to melow down a bit, otherwise he will loose his respect

I remember a former Ooni, Oba Adesoji Aderemi, was the Governor of Western Region in those days, while Awo and later Akintola served as Premier. It was more like the relationship between the Queen and the Prime Minister. I am wondering why the Alaafin did not have a position at the time. Does this confirm the Supremacy of the Ooni? Just wondering...

I know people are gullible as truth remains that Oonirisa of Ife is trespassing his boundary. He has no authority to make appointment that cover entire Yoruba land.
Alafin remain the defacto political leader of entire Yoruba race will Ooni is head of Aborisa of Yorubaland😂.
He can't only make appointment on Okanlomo of Odua not of Yoruba land.
Ooni has no empire.
He is a spiritual leader but has no authority that cover the whole Yorubaland.

Awolowo brought back ooni to prominence because of his issues with the alaafin then. He disposed the alaafin and sent him to lagos. The great alaafin of old oyo empire was more powerful and signed treaties with the British on behalf of Yorubas. Ooni was no where to be found then

New or not New he occupies the office of Alafin. The simple truth is that Ooni has no authority to appointment that bother on Yorubaland.
Alafin is the head of Yoruba land and political leader that why he appoint chief of defence The Are Ona Kakanfo.
What is the business of Ooni in appointment.

Was it Awolowo also that appoint Oba Aderemi as governor of the western region above the alaafin? Una go just dey open mouth waa online dishiing out falsehood. Even when the crown prince of England, Charles visited Nigeria,he sat close to Ooni. Alaafin was not even invited. Ooni is occupying Oduduwa seat,while alaafin is occupying Oduduwa son's seat.
