Most passengers devalue or look down on commercial drivers. As a Keke driver, I must tell you that passengers comes with different attitude and energy. An average Keke driver serve upto 150 persons in a day that is almost 150 attitude and energy in a day. Most Keke drivers/riders are graduate and have mastered or come across any form of attitude you think you can display as a passenger. We can carry you free depends on your manner of approach while we can also shed blood for a 50naira dispute. I mean 50% of your life as a passenger lies on the driver, why would you not respect yourself and wait till you get to your destination peacefully before vomiting trash. Some passenger seems like they have bought the drivers life for 150naira ride and so can talk I'll of any slightest mistake from the driver. As early as 6:00 am a passenger will come out with 1000naira note, sit comfortably and will not let the driver know. This can make a passenger lose his or her change or a stained cloth from fighting. Infact I must tell you. Every driver on Nigerian road knows your character and will reciprocate %200 on the passenger. Your good deeds as a passenger is also noted by the driver.

Let us see commercial drivers as well to do men. Your 250k salary might be a week profit for him depends on the machine used. Infact if a Keke man tell you he make 15k a day just know that it is roughly 20k because the money is calculated after his night food.

Well,I must commend you on this,cuz as a former colleague of yours,I know what I went through all through the 4 years of being a Keke rider . You can imagine mastering the habit of being tolerant and taking nonsense from passengers simply because you're rendering them services .

As for the money part,yes I must agree with you on the fact that it's lucrative...But you mustn't exclude the fact that it's when the Keke is still new and giving you Less problem..That's when you will be enjoying the job...But once it's old and you start going from workshops to workshops,that's when you'll know that life has got part two..

Yes but old Keke need you to set aside daily savings for maintenance. Even the generator for your charging business will need at least 2 weeks changing of oil or else
