jrobbins:It has not They just calmed down because they felt like they had a stake in the just concluded eight years presidency and any of such would tarnish the image of the government who stood as a representative of the superiority of their faith over others. I’m talking of the Buhari era. Same with this Tinubu regime. Only that dissidents among them are already agitating over the fact that they don’t believe Tinubu is m u s l i m enough to carry their image. |

Bwanasaraw:The population of m u s l i m s in those countries you mentioned is underrated. Very much underrated. In the next ten years, r i o t s will break out in those countries and in the next twenty years, I foresee a civil w a r in those countries that will bring an end to western civilization. I don’t plan to stay long in here. I am very sure that I’m going home to Nigeria, soon. |

I survived 1992 riot, 2000 (1&2) riot, 2002 miss world and 2018. The state of Kaduna has declined. It is a shadow of it's glorious days. I laugh at those who always call for ethnic subjugation. It has no benefits. Truth is, it has it's limits. We need to learn from history to avoid repeating it. |

Racoon:Flaring tensions on both sides As someone who witnessed the crisis passively, I can assure you that it was one-sided. The volatility of the situation wouldn't have escalated had Isioma not published that article. Thus, a clarion call for all Nigerians to be mindful of their utterances offline and online. One careless statement cost over a thousand people their lives. |

Racoon:This is how Nigerians come to terms with extremism and still find a way to intellectually rationalize it. Why don't we have similar level of "respect for other people's deep convictions" in places like Saudi Arabia? We are having a very deep issue in our hands but we've decided to look away. Posterity will definitely judge this generation |

Spandau:Oh so you know your Christians Forebears killed enmass too and more than anyone else but the excuse is that it wasn't done in the name of the God they worship or in the name of their Religion? Good! You are getting there slowly. Now go back and do some more research because whatever they did was done for "God, Glory and Gold" Now go read some more boy! |

Helinuse:Your Forebears were more fanatical than Muslims when they worship their God? Really really? Well I guess they become less when they started worshipping the Resources of the world thereafter then? But boy how they kill, pillage and maim in order to get their hands on those Resources even when their Christian Brethren stand in the way. Intolerance comes from both side and the silly one is that one that trigger the other into what could destroy both camp. Silly. |

Hassanmaye:The Two World Wars were in which Theatre? Fought by who against who? Let's start with that. Mind you there are dozens of Wars in Europe fought by Christians against Christians just as Muslims in the Middle East fought against each other but the Nigerian Christians don't reckon with that but will readily amplify the Muslim issues while conveniently forgetting theirs. |

Since we're reminiscing bad events that happened in Nigeria. Pls can someone bring out the archives of Zango kataf massacre against Muslims, the Jos massacres against Muslims during Jonah Jang times and also the 1965 coup plotted by the evil Igbo people that killed majority of Northern leaders. Please be fast we're waiting. |

Aleister:Many close friends of mine lost their lives during this riot in kabala Doki. I even meet one of the survivors yesterday. He was just a teen when they slaughtered almost a dozen people in their compound. He was lucky to have narrowly escaped . At first they tried to slice him from the forehead down into two, but he blocked the strike with his right hand. Very dark times |

If the journalist's comment was the other way round, there wouldn't be any riots or killings. Why would I get angry to the extend of kpaing someone for saying something about God what I believe in? |

I can't just imagine how that Isioma Daniel live afterwards? The carnage would forever ascribed to her, and I couldn't just wrap my head with how she would feel everyday knowing that she was the cause of deaths of many lives, even though she killed none with her hand. Let everyone knows what to say or write, lest one lives a regrettable life |

victorazyvictor:In those days to convince them that Jesus is a son to a god, the spirit also is part of a god then they evolved, win more heathens for a god, win everything for God, Glory and Gold. Then they break out of their homestead when the couldn't live with each other. Then the killings continue. Read up on what the Catholics want to do with the English Anglicans with their Spanish Sidekicks. Read up on that war and come tell me in the name of which God they fought. |

Foreign religion(Islam and Christianity) has never truly helped us in Africa to be honest! In fact, Religion has never helped us at all! What we need is quality schools being funded and run by the government and or patriotic private individuals, one that wouldn't bore holes in our pockets and one that doesn't mimic and or totally copy western lifestyle. |

victorazyvictor:You mean there are Wars without Violence? That's a new one. Please educate me on such Wars without Violence. As we are here on Nairaland, the Anglicans on the British Isles can't move freely in the Catholics stronghold of Northern Ireland. It is the same with the Muslims in the Sunni-Shia divide. My point? Islam and Muslims differences are usually amplified. |
